2028 Rankings: Small Town Standouts

There's 2028 prospects all over Oklahoma, bringing instant impact to their high school teams. Here's a spotlight on some of them.    Impressive lead guard who has fit seamlessly into an up tempo, pass first squad. Plays with good pace and often looks to make the right pass, along with tougher feeds. Has deeper range from three, and looks to know how to do her damage within the flow off the offense. Same team first, aggressive mindset translates on the defensive end. With quick on the ball defense and havoc causing in the passing lanes or as a trapper. Key part of Harrah's 3-0 start this season.     Impressed at the PGH freshman showcase by doing a bit of everything. Which is a good trait to have in a camp setting to show that you know how play. An even better trait is being a bucket getting and if the boxscore of her first varsity game was any indication, Inhofe can fill it up. She poured in 27 points in a win over Mannford. It was a quieter second game in a loss against Perkins-Tyron, but Infhoe is still up to 6 made threes on the season. Will be keeping tabs on as an emerging scoring threat.     Speedy lead guard, who is also a softball standout. She's a menace on the defensive end with a strong and aggressive mentality to match that speed. Poured in 21 points with a full stat line in a win against Spiro. Her highlights of the game painted the picture of a havoc causing guard, who thrived in transition. Combines with her sharpshooting sister Payton to form a formidable backcourt for the eastern Oklahoma program.     A skilled shot maker, Langley is already earning early minutes for a tradition rich Adair program that's seemingly always a factor in Class 3A. She must always be accounted from in the halfcourt and in the mid-range. Along with the scoring ability, early highlight clips seem to indicate good offensive IQ, feel and movement off the ball. Which gives her the foundation to not only score, but do it efficiently in the flow of an offense. Opened up with 14 points to start her high school career.       A busy first week saw Dotson average 15.8 points and earn first team all tournament at the Mustang Stampede event. Her highlights show she's a dangerous driver, who can stop and hit in the mid-range. Or navigate by defenders with good dribbles and footwork to get to the rim. She's got a quality crossover that can get defenders on their heels, especially in transition.       Shooting is always valued at the next level, and if Webster's opening high school games are any indication she'll attract attention for her ability from deep. The lefty clearly has the green light, and even is nailing threes that are a few steps beyond the three point line. She's another small town standout who is already averaging double figures and well on her way to a super productive freshman season.     Northern Oklahoma guard, is also already scoring in double figures. Smith is also filling up the stat sheet, as she handed out five assists in a recent contest. Looks to be a threat as an off the dribble shooter, who has good use of screens and good handles. Has footage from summer ball that also indicate she's a high energy and disruptive defender. Especially in the press and trapping situations.
