It looks like the top 2 teams are the real deal once again. Ridgeline has been able to dismantle a few bigger schools and Snow Canyon has done the same thing. After them ist s a toss up but some teams and oplayers have been playing well.

#1 Snow Canyon

Olivia Hamlin is as good as advertised. [player_tooltip player_id='790569' first='Joey' last='Jensen'] has been stellar ad Kelly Howard has been making a push too. This team has solid guards and they look like their toughest game will be against Bountiful on December 20th in the state.

#2 Ridgeline

Many thought that Ridgeline might take a step down after graduating a lot of pieces but they have underestimated how good [player_tooltip player_id='772236' first='Emilee' last='Skinner'] is. Skinner is a high percentage shooter and she makes it look easy. Ridgeline has 8 really tough games left on their schedule and that could be what helps elevate their teams grit. [player_tooltip player_id='796477' first='Abby' last='Munford'] looks great and so does [player_tooltip player_id='796497' first='Reagan' last='Brown']. [player_tooltip player_id='1166547' first='Brooke' last='Smith'] is also a player that has been solid.

#3 Payson

Do not sleep on Payson, they play hard and have some height and physicality to thier game that can give teams fits. Payson is only 3-0 amd those three wins have been solid. They have a team that can have 4 players average double digits before the season is over. They have three players that are really playing well. Quicey Mathews, Averie Roundy and Kyah Bahr all three are 5'9 and taller and skilled.

#4 Cottonwood

Cottonwood is off to a great start with two tough games left in pre-season. This team could head into the region play with an elite record. They have 5 players scroing in double figures and they are led by really talented SF [player_tooltip player_id='796803' first='Carley' last='Caton']. [player_tooltip player_id='789134' first='Taylor' last='Workman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1164850' first='Bella' last='Morris'] have been solid so far. They have 5 girls you need to account for which makes covering this team tough.

#5 Provo

Provo has a balanced schedule and it works well for their team because they have some young players that need to develop. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='873276' first='Sutton' last='Villa'] is starting to really impact the game with her height and shot blocking ability. The combo of her and [player_tooltip player_id='938373' first='Naomi' last='Martinez'] seems to be working well as they own the paint on both sides of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='829488' first='Izabelle' last='Moyes'] is playing well and [player_tooltip player_id='873280' first='Sage' last='Yenchik'] is a talented freshman leaving her mark on games.

#6 Mountain Crest

MCHS is putting in work and they are getting good play from some young players. [player_tooltip player_id='796478' first='Bella' last='Carroll'] is playing high level ball. Her handle and shooting ability is coming in handy as both of those aspects of her game have improved. 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='997499' first='Emersyn' last='Brown'] has talent and is being used a lot and she is coming through. Lily Smith and Leighton Prat are tough.

#7 Green Canyon

Green Canyon has had a very challenging schedule and they are currently .500. This could help them battle in a tough region. They have 6 tough games coming up and they will need a lot from Khloe Tensmeyer, [player_tooltip player_id='812026' first='Mya' last='Hinds'] and [player_tooltip player_id='812025' first='Talyssa' last='Nelson']. This team is tough and they have speed, size and shooting.

#8 Dixie

Dixie is young and they are playing well. Jaycee Bundy has been playing well and they are getting good minutes and positive production from [player_tooltip player_id='873331' first='Izzy' last='Hollingshead']. This team will get better with time. This team was picked to finish last and they could actually finish 2nd or 3rd.

#9 Pine View

[player_tooltip player_id='796800' first='Reese' last='Gustin'] is playing well and they will need more from her and new comer [player_tooltip player_id='789057' first='Ella' last='Fiefia'] as the season keeps rolling. They are both capable as stat stuffers.

#10 Mountain View

Moutain View has potential and they have players that could play any style of ball. They look good at times getting up and down and they look good at times in the half-court. [player_tooltip player_id='1164243' first='Kimberlee' last='Brown'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796845' first='Jaycee' last='Carlson'] have been great early. They are also getting good play from Sienna bramble. Do not sleep on them.

It looks like the top 2 teams are the real deal once again. Ridgeline has been able to dismantle a few bigger schools and Snow Canyon has done the same thing. After them ist s a toss up but some teams and oplayers have been playing well.
