<p>The Baron Classic held at Wilson Hall in Sumter featured 6 team SCISA teams in attendance. Orangeburg Prep got things started in a game vs Florence Christian. The Lady Indians had no problems getting by the Lady Eagles fairly easily. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='460546' first='Jane' last='Walker Yonce']</strong> a senior forward for the Lady Indians provided strong play from the forward position. Yonce was able to finish some short jumpers and baskets at the rim in the lopsided win. </p>

<p>Northside Christian defeated Laurence Manning Academy 61-53. Sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='560668' first='Evie' last='Godfrey'] </strong>led the charge with 24 points. Godfrey was able to dictate the tempo from out top at times today for the Lady Crusaders. Evie connected on some jumpers when she wasn't getting the ball to the cup here today. She does a really nice job of getting the ball to her spots. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='520657' first='Chaelyn' last='Tifre']</strong> a junior forward finished with 13 points in the win. Chaelyn connected on some short jumpers from 8-10 feet while playing around the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='831289' first='<strong>Campbell' last='Childers</strong>'] just an 8th grader finished with 8 points in the win. Childers was able to drop some floaters going to the basket today while running the point guard position.</p>

<p>Laurence Manning Academy trailed 44-29 with 2:32 left in the 3rd quarter but never gave up. The Lady Cats creeped back into the game with 1:35 left with the score being 59-51. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='600160' first='Lyza' last='Prickelmyer']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='600161' first='Ashley' last='Rae Hodge']</strong> both led the Lady Cats with 16 points apiece. Prickelmyer a left-handed guard and Hodge were both able to score the ball from the perimeter with some timely shooting here today. </p>

<p>Augusta Christian (GA) defeated the host Wilson Hall 50-42 in the nightcap of the Baron Classic. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1111485' first='Taylor' last='Booker']</strong> a sophomore post player finished with 11 points in the Lady Lions win. Booker a very agile and long forward really runs the floor well while filling the lane in transition. Taylor is still reaching her potential that's for sure with her play. <strong>Makenna Ellis</strong> and <strong>Avery Schwarz</strong> finished with 11 and 8 points respectively in the win. </p>

<p><strong>Logan Mims</strong> led the Lady Barons in the loss with 15 points. Mims plays her best basketball around the paint and just staying active and picking up some putbacks along the way. </p>
