[player_tooltip player_id='463719' first='Yahri' last='Tyler'] had an outstanding performance on December 13th against North Port, scoring an impressive 21 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. She achieved this while shooting 54% from the field and going 7-for-13 from the free-throw line, demonstrating her efficiency around the rim and her ability to draw fouls and capitalize at the line.

Yahri is currently averaging a double-double this season, with 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. The forward excels at securing rebounds at the highest point and immediately going back up strong. She also has the ability to take defenders off the dribble and finish creatively around the rim off two feet. Additionally, her consistent mid-range shooting makes her a tough matchup for opponents.

This season is shaping up to be Yahri's best statistical year yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='515087' first='Kellisia' last='Grant'] is having a breakout year and making sure everyone knows her name. She is currently leading the defending 2A state champions in scoring, averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 49% from the field and 80% from the free-throw line. Her standout season continued on December 13th against Canterbury, where she tallied 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

Grant gets most of her points the old-fashioned way—by beating defenders downhill to the rim. If she doesn't score, she's likely drawing a foul and converting at the line. Her competitive drive is unmatched; she simply wants it more when she's on the court. Offensively, she doesn't need an array of moves to score, and on the defensive end, her mission is to make it a long night for her opponents. She smothers ball handlers, forcing turnovers with her relentless pressure.

Grant deserves to be on everyone's radar as she continues to gain well-deserved attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='656075' first='Ashlyn' last='Young'] (Cover Photo) had a standout performance on December 13th against Rickards, scoring 20 points while shooting 58% from the field, along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Young handled ball pressure well in this game, using her patience and ball-handling skills to get to her spots for mid-range pull-ups. She also knocked down a couple of open threes from the top of the key.

Young has the ability to run the offense effectively, not only creating scoring opportunities for herself but also getting her teammates involved. Defensively, she has a unique knack for blocking shots as a guard, often catching opposing teams by surprise.

Currently averaging 9.9 points and 3.1 assists per game, Young is playing a major role in her team's early success.

[player_tooltip player_id='933334' first='Shelby' last='Gaines'], the leader on and off the court for Bishop Snyder, is showcasing her versatility this season. Statistically, she leads the team in points (15.7 PPG), field goal percentage (48%), rebounds (8.5 per game), assists (2.3 per game), and steals (3.6 per game). Gaines has proven she can do it all, stepping up in whatever role the team needs and embodying her coach's vision on the floor.

On December 11th against Mandarin, Gaines delivered another standout performance, recording 16 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. True to her “do-it-all” style, Shelby scored in transition, used her dribble to create mid-range pull-up opportunities, and drew defenders to set up her teammates for easy buckets near the rim. She also grabbed key rebounds to keep the offense alive or initiate fast breaks.

Shelby's ability to impact the game in so many ways makes her an ideal fit for a variety of college systems. By the end of this season, she's sure to attract significant interest from college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='728921' first='Yvette' last='Brown'] recorded a double-double on December 12th against Winthrop College Prep, finishing with 21 points on 69% shooting from the field, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Brown thrives in a fast-paced offense, and her team capitalizes on that style of play.

Her ability to get to the rim quickly while playing strong and finishing through contact makes her a constant threat. She also shoots well enough to keep defenses honest, forcing them to respect her shot and stay off-balance. Brown's quick decision-making allows her to find open teammates in split seconds, even while playing at a high tempo.

Brown currently leads her team in scoring with 17 points per game and is second in rebounds with 7.5 per game. As her confidence continues to grow, her production is expected to increase in the second half of the season.
