Meet the Nominees
Siena Ostick Class 2028 is starting for the Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA) Varsity Team as a freshman. She has provided scoring, assists, rebounding, and tenacious defense to a team playing in the difficult Mission League in Los Angeles. Siena is a leader and shows more maturity than you would expect from a freshman playing Varsity.
It helps that she gets a lot of shots up thanks to the Dr. Dish machine she uses in her backyard!
Highlights
Kinzee score 30 points, had 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals while helping the #5 Mustangs beat #1 Bishop Garrigan on Thursday night. She turned around Friday night and had 23 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 assists in 3 quarters versus East Sac.

Leah Nordin who is averaging 29pts, 8.7reb and 4.6stl per game broke the all time shawano women's scoring record of 1168 points set by Christi Burden back in 1989. Christi was actually able to attend Leah's game against Oosburg high school on 12/03/2024 to cheer her on. Leah started the game with 1147 points, only needing 22 points against an Oosburg team that is loaded with talent such as the Ketterhagan sisters. All three sisters are Division 1 players. Leah managed to pick up three early fouls and had to sit the last eight minutes of the first half. Leah started the second half with 12 points and continued her scoring run, adding 13 points to break Christi's 35 year standing record.
Highlights
Makena scored 22 first half points against Nicolet to become the 40th player in state history to reach the 2,000 point milestone. Earlier in the week, she dropped 34 points 12 rebounds against state ranked Whitefish Bay in a win. She then finished the week putting up 23 points and 14 rebounds in a win over another-state ranked team in Wisconsin Lutheran.
Makena is ranked in the top 60 for her grade on ESPN Hoopgurlz rankings and is committed to Minnesota (D1).
She had an 28 points triple-doble with 14 reb, 14 steals, 5 assists, 3 blocks against Gila Ridge on Dec. 09, 2024 in Yuma Arizona.
And last week she had a 20 points 10 rebound. 7 assist 6 steals game, against Kofa. In Yuma Az.

On Thursday, December 5th Emeline Barton had a career high. She scored 45 points on 70% shooting including 7 made threes. She also added 6 steals and 5 rebounds to round out her night. With last this performance, Emeline became LaFargeville's all time leading scorer. She now has 1,282 points during her varsity career with the rest of her senior season still to be played.
