The 2024 calendar year was one that gave us star-studded performances and a lot to think about moving into the year 2025. In this piece we highlight some of the most dominant performances/producers that I've seen over the past year. Now are these the only dominating performances/producers out there? No but they are one's that most won't forget moving forward.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Prior to this high school season, I had the chance to go on the road and cover AAU during the Spring/Summertimes per usual. While doing so, last Spring I had a chance to sit and watch [player_tooltip player_id='875100' first='Kazaria' last='Smith'] of AR Elite a couple of times. Each time, Smith showed the heart, determination, and a skill-set to be a high level prospect at the next level. Since then, Smith has put the state of Illinois on notice with how well she has been performing. In this past three months, she has also put together one of the most impressive performances that the Country has ever seen. In her team's holiday tournament, Smith recorded a game with 58 Points, 10 Rebounds, 10 Assists, and 10 Steals. Now take a moment, go back and read that again. She put up a 58 point quadruple-double, scoring 35 in the first half and never taking her foot of the gas. Other than just scoring, Smith demonstrates each night that she is a D1 basketball player. That's why she is currently averaging 28.5 PPG, putting her as a Top 25 scorer throughout the United States at this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='510277' first='Izzy' last='Eisbach'] of Nowaday Valley is quietly putting together one of the best high school seasons that I've seen so far this Winter. Eisbach runs into the situation of playing out of a small town in Iowa at the Varsity level and this level of competition gives her some major advantages. Within her conference, Eisbach is easily the Player Of The Year and it's not even close to a debate. There are a few specific stat lines that I could take away from this season so far for Eisbach but I think in general it's important to state that she is averaging near 30 PPG, while also grabbing double-digits in Rebounds, Assists, and Steals on a consistent basis. Sometimes there is a small program with an absolute killer on their roster. A killer than would thrive in any given situation and that's what we have here with Eisbach.

I don't know what's happening over there in Minnesota but someone that competes out of Iowa for AAU, that is a next level talent is Guard - Chloe Johnson. If you have been following girls high school ball in anyway the past few years, you know about CJ. Johnson is a guard with great size for her age at 6'0, along with an impressive skill-set while competing. She is a knock down shooter when given time from all over the court, she is a creator and facilitator to those around her when those opportunities present themselves, and she consistently shows that mentally her game is at another level compared to most her age. I could go back and highlight one of Johnson's 40 point games that she has posted already this Winter but I won't. Just know that Johnson is producing at a high rate, all over the floor, in several different categories. Now how will this translate to the next level? I'm not quite sure but I'm sure we are going to find out of the next few seasons.

The most dominating force in the paint, that Iowa has to offer out of this 2025 Class, is debatably Center - [player_tooltip player_id='582828' first='Dasia' last='Foster'] of Oskaloosa High School. Foster has had MULTIPLE 20/20 games this season, putting up insane numbers on the glass on both sides of the basketball. Her most recent stat line that absolutely blew me away came this past weekend when she recorded 25 Points and 20 Rebounds, along with recording a number of other positive statistics as well. I have no idea who is going to pick up Foster after her stint with Kirkwood coming up but I'm sure she is going to have suitors at all collegiate levels at that time. You can't teach size and that's what Foster has, natural size that most can't handle.

Transitioning from middle school to high school can be a challenge for even the most talented of prospects. A lot of the transition doesn't necessarily happen on the court but moreso in life with the player growing up and being in a new environment. Someone that has been flawless in her transition into the Varsity level this Winter is PG - Riley Schellhammer. Schellhammer is the definition of coordinated, quick, and crafty. She always understands what is going on around her, no matter the given situation and she knows how to produce while being in those give situations. Making all of this even more impressive. Currently she is averaging 14.5 PPG on 38% shooting, 4.2 RPG, 1.8 APG, 2.6 SPG, and 81 FT%, all while shooting the three ball at a 31% clip. For only being a Freshman at one of the biggest schools in the state of Indiana, this is very impressive and I'm sure that this production won't be slowing down anytime soon. She has put together some really impressive performances already and I don't expect that to slow down.
