It's no secret that Minnesota's class of 2026 is loaded with strong next-level talent including a pair of generational prospects at the top: [player_tooltip player_id='252381' first='Maddyn' last='Greenway'] of Providence Academy (Kentucky) and [player_tooltip player_id='205310' first='Tori' last='Oehrlein'] of Crosby-Ironton (Minnesota). Their high school careers will go down as some of the best in state history. But they are not the only strong Division 1 prospects in the class. Even with the chaos that has been created by the NCAA transfer portal and the proliferation of NIL money, we expect this year's junior class will eventually produce two dozen D1 players.

This week we are updating the 2026 rankings and there are two significant developments to report in the top 25:

#4 [player_tooltip player_id='471360' first='Mya' last='Moore'] – The Orono point guard (in action above) has always been an elite talent with tremendous feel for the game and a skillset that is rarely equaled. This winter Mya's well-seasoned game has taken her team to new heights and the Spartans are a legitimate contender in Class 3A. As a result, the Creighton University commit has now been moved up from #6 to #4.

#22 [player_tooltip player_id='589276' first='Taleigha' last='Bigler'] – Like Moore, Bigler is having a dream season for the Marshall Tigers, who have just one loss and are considered strong contenders to earn a Class 3A state championship. Coach Dan Westby's teams are always strong and cohesive but they have rarely had a floor leader as good as the Southwest Minnesota State commit. Taleigha rises from #26 to #22.

Other top 25 movers include MSU-Mankato commit [player_tooltip player_id='339179' first='Brylee' last='Miller'] of Fairmont (up 1 to #21) and forward [player_tooltip player_id='502561' first='Marta' last='Forsline'] of Mesabi East (up 1 to #24).

WHICH TOP 50 PROSPECTS MOVED UP?

Some players stagnate in their development from one rankings period to the next. Others get passed up by prospects on the rise. And then there are the players who demonstrate continuous improvement. Among those athletes now ranked between #25 and #50, there are many familiar stock risers who are continuing their upward trajectory. Here are five familiar faces who continue to get better.

#29 [player_tooltip player_id='498662' first='Jadyn' last='Kor'] – Two weeks ago the 5'10 guard from Pipestone (pictured above) became the Arrows' all-time scoring leader, setting a new standard of 1,493 points and counting. That's not at all surprising to folks who have been paying attention to her rise in status over the past couple of years. As her game has grown, and her summer visibility has improved, Kor's ranking has risen dramatically. Over the past several rankings updates Jadyn has moved from #75 to #64 to #40 to #36 last fall. Now she rises seven more places to #29. She is a strong scorer, distributor and defender whose ceiling continues to rise.

#34 [player_tooltip player_id='589275' first='Sophia' last='Anderson'] – On a senior-laden squad like Maple Grove, where five veteran performers have carried the Crimson to the top of the charts, it's not easy to come off the bench and make an impact. But every time we watch her team play, Anderson finds a way to impact the proceedings. When [player_tooltip player_id='205298' first='Jordan' last='Ode'] moves on to Michigan State, and the Hanna triplets go their separate ways, Sophia is going to burst into the spotlight. Her progression has been impressive, from #65 in the fall of 2023 to #61 to #55 to #37 and now up three more places to #34.

#35 [player_tooltip player_id='502604' first='Kaia' last='Anderson'] – Kaia is one of the premier three-point shooters in Minnesota, an elite bomber who forged a well-earned reputation early on in her high school career. Since then every aspect of her game has improved as she has taken over the primary leadership role for the Yellowjackets. Over the past four updates, Anderson has risen from #47 to #46 to #38 and now she's up three more positions to #35. Kaia, who scored her 1,000th career point last week in a game against Staples-Motley, has already announced her commitment to Southwest Minnesota State, now one of the premier D2 programs in the country.

#37 [player_tooltip player_id='676690' first='Abby' last='Ruda'] – We've been excited about the potential of Abby and her twin sister [player_tooltip player_id='676689' first='Addison' last='Ruda'] of Monticello since they emerged in the summer of 2023 as players to watch in the class of 2026. Since then their physical maturity has kicked in, their skill development has taken root, and their poise and competitiveness on the court has soared. Monticello may be the top team in class 3A this season and Abby's improvement is huge part of that. She entered the rankings at #89, moved to #71 then #69 then #50. Last fall she rose to #43 and now Abby is up six more spots to #37. She has a chance to get to D1 before it's all said and done.

#42 [player_tooltip player_id='717668' first='Evelyn' last='Miller'] – There's no question in our minds that the big forward from Orono is the most improved player in the top 50 over the past 12 months. Last summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='714566' first='Minnesota' last='Stars'], her confidence appeared to take a big leap forward and her on-court performance spiked as a result. From the opening weekend of the high school season, it has been more of the same as the old-school post has become a dominant force inside. Her chemistry with [player_tooltip player_id='471360' first='Mya' last='Moore'] and [player_tooltip player_id='644898' first='Ally' last='Moore'] has been special. Over the past four rankings periods, Miller has risen from #103 to #94 to #58. This time she takes a 16-position leap to #42.

Other top 50 prospects who saw their stock rise a notch or two include include #27 [player_tooltip player_id='515651' first='Addi' last='Schneider'], #28 [player_tooltip player_id='502586' first='Maria' last='Radabaugh'], #32 [player_tooltip player_id='472446' first='Amaya' last='Penn'], #33 [player_tooltip player_id='515688' first='Lexie' last='Mathews'], #36 [player_tooltip player_id='717663' first='Le'Sedra' last='Williams'], #41 [player_tooltip player_id='502537' first='Kate' last='Hennessy'], #43 [player_tooltip player_id='478375' first='Kadence' last='Pierce'], #46 [player_tooltip player_id='721209' first='Ayla' last='Caskey'], #48 [player_tooltip player_id='515674' first='Aubree' last='Hultman'], #49 [player_tooltip player_id='894002' first='Jayden' last='Sonnenberg'] and #50 [player_tooltip player_id='502533' first='Jensyn' last='Storhoff'].

OTHER BIG MOVERS IN THE TOP 100

#51 [player_tooltip player_id='717664' first='Izzy' last='Guetzlaff'] – The versatile forward from Red Wing does it all for her team, operating in business-like fashion game after game. Izzy moves up 13 positions.

#62 [player_tooltip player_id='862790' first='Natalie' last='Thomforde'] – The Goodhue guard has exploded this winter, parlaying her defensive excellence and offensive intelligence into a leadership role. She rises 32 places.

#65 [player_tooltip player_id='719637' first='Deborah' last='Ayeni'] – The big power forward from Anoka, who has a motor that never quits, has earned a 20-place jump among Minnesota juniors.

#69 [player_tooltip player_id='589280' first='Lyric' last='Singleton'] – Lyric has carried Park Center on her back all season, demonstrating superior athleticism and effort to earn a 35-place improvement.

#79 [player_tooltip player_id='782565' first='Maya' last='Jenkins'] – The lengthy forward from Eastview (pictured above) has blossomed over the past 6 months on an elite Lightning squad. She moves up 16 places.

#80 [player_tooltip player_id='947971' first='Elly' last='Herickhoff'] – The lanky forward from Sauk Centre is aging like fine wine and earning next-level opportunities as a result. With a leap of 53 positions, she is our biggest stock riser since the fall.
