Makyah hit a handful of mid-ranges in this game and made a lot of nice plays on both ends. On South County's game-winner, Makyah made an excellent play, driving the ball off a West Potomac make and dishing it down to Savannah Simmons for the game-winner. She is always near loose balls, and she defends fantastically in the paint. Jocelynn had some finishes inside against Centreville that heavily impacted the game. She had one at the end of the third quarter that capped off Oakton stretching their lead from 4 to 9. In Oakton's district final win over Centreville, Jocelynn was fantastic again. She was great on the offensive glass, and she always does well driving by slower bigs and getting easy buckets at the rim. Jocelynn is a great athlete and one of the more underrated players in NOVA. Sophie's late-game ball handling and defense were huge factors. Sophie did a fantastic job driving the ball, and she had some nice finishes.
