<p><strong><em>Lady Stingrays Win Easy</em></strong>: </p>

<p>Cross Schools moved one step closer to winning another state championship. Last season the Lady Stingrays won SCISA Class 1A. This time around the Lady Stingrays defeated Lee Academy 63-39. </p>

<p>Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='856288' first='Ryan' last='Mayers']</strong> had the hot hand and led the squad in scoring with 16 points. Mayers was able to finish around the basket on multiple occasions today. Ryan plays active at all times for the Lady Stingrays and really has a good nose for the ball. She plays with good reactions and mindset. She was quite efficient around the cup in her shot selection. </p>

<p>Senior guard <strong>Genesis Wilson</strong> who started her career off at Battery Creek HS finished with 10 points in the win. Wilson was quick end to end at times with the ball in her hands. She was able to score in transition at times today. </p>

Mazie has a soft set of hands and a nice touch on the floor. She is 4-sport athlete at the school in the process. </p>

<p><strong><em>Lady Crusaders Clip Lady Raiders</em></strong>: </p>

<p>The Laurens Academy Lady Crusaders defeated the Dorchester Academy Lady Raiders 44-43 in overtime to advance to the SCISA Class 2A State Championship Game on Saturday. </p>

<p>Freshman guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1197033' first='Sadie' last='Bruyere']</strong> added 13 points while connecting on 9-12 from the foul line down the stretch. Sadie played quite composed late in the game and never seem rattled at all. She played aggressive all game long. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1197055' first='Braylee' last='Burke']</strong> is just a 7th grader for the Lady Crusaders. Braylee rarely left the floor at all tonight on her way to scoring 6 points. This trio of players for the Lady Crusaders look to have good times moving forward. Laurens Academy moves to (18-7) on the season. </p>

<p>Dorchester Academy Lady Raiders finished the season at (14-8). Shooting guard <strong>Palmer Kizer</strong> led the way with 12 points. Senior guard <strong>Reagan Burns</strong> added 10 points. <strong>Emery McClure</strong> and <strong>Rylee Weathers</strong> both added 9 points apiece in the game. Burns will graduate while the other 3 will return next season. </p>

<p>The Pee Dee Academy out of Mullins defeated Spartanburg Christian Academy 37-24 to start the day off at the Sumter County Civic Center. The Golden Eagles were led in scoring by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='243544' first='Rebecca' last='Hammond']</strong> with 15 points. Senior <strong>Claire Owens</strong> added 7 points in the win. Hammond will head off to St Andrew's University next season in Laurinburg, NC to play soccer for the Lady Knights. Hammond is a physical player who looks to draw contact on the way to the basket at times. </p>

<p>The top seeded Orangeburg Prep Lady Indians defeated Hilton Head Prep on Thursday evening to advance to the SCISA Class 3A State Championship Game on Saturday night. The Lady Indians (23-1) have now won 21 games in a row. Orangeburg Prep defeated the Lady Dolphins 53-40. </p>
