The playoffs are red hot for Class 2A-B and heating up for the rest of the classifications. Which has led to a lot of basketball watched all over Oklahoma. Since February 17th, I have been to games in Bristow, Shawnee, Mustang, McLoud and Okarche. With the miles logged and the games watched, let's recap some must watch prospects right now and one for the future.

Dominanted the playoff tune up contest against El Reno. Silky smooth three point and mid-range shooter in the halfcourt. Athletic and disruptive on the defensive end. ORU looks like they got a steal by elevating and locking up her commitment early in the process. Has elevated her game as a junior to be one of the state's best players regardless of class. And a very important piece for a Lady Bronco team squarely in the Gold Ball hunt of a deep Class 6A.

While the loss to Mustang had to sting, it was still a good playoff primer and tune up for Bugaj. She had a takeover stretch in the third quarter, where her quickness and tight handle carved up Mustang in the halfcourt and transition. Outstanding vision, mixed with skilled finishing. Made some great passes, especially in transition. She'll often be the shortest player on the court during this playoff run, but her energy and skill make the Friends signee the heartbeat for the Lady Indians.

One of the top defensive players in Oklahoma's freshman class, she's a mobile wing with great anticipation instincts. She explodes on the perimeter to block three pointers, or deflect passes. Type of player who's reading of the game and energy makes it seem like she's always in the right place at the right time. Wasn't her best scoring game for the in person viewing, but has had a very productive freshman campaign for the Maidens.

An exciting young core gives McLoud a chance to make noise in a tough Class 4A Area 2. The sophomore core for McLoud is fairly well known, but they also have a freshman who's contributing. Eslinger is a sharpshooter who was dialed in from distance and the midrange in a District Title win over Byng. Quality shooting is a great foundation for any young player, and Eslinger is a key part of a sleeper McLoud team.

Tall wing/forward, who's a bit of a point forward with the way she handles the rock and hits big jumpers. Her scoring and energy were a key part of a dominant third quarter run that busted the game open for Seiling. Plays at her own pace with the ball in her hands, rarely was sped up or out of control. Complete ball player, and no surprise has winning traits while part of of the powerhouse that is Lady Wildcats basketball. The softball signee finished with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Battler for Okarhce, who did it all in hopes of an upset. Knocked down big threes and helped break the press. Has a cannon for an arm with an on the money, near full court outlet assist. Not afraid to mix it up among the trees either. Even took a knee to the chest late, then came back into the game and kept hitting big shots. Impressive small town sophomore with no backdown to her game.

Tall guard/wing prospect with a silky jumper. Don't leave her alone or odds are the shot is going up and in from three. Was another key part of that dominant third quarter for the Lady Wildcats. Finished with a full stat line of 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.

Here's one for the future, but she's already quite good. Spencer plays up with her older sister Kendi, for non OSSAA program, Owasso Prep. They reached the semifinals of their conference. While their young team came up short, the 7th grader was impressive. She's already has a tight handle, with a bag of dribble moves that some high schoolers would be jealous of. Fairly quick too for her age well. The potential is there for her to be an electric scorer and she's a longterm name to monitor.
