[player_tooltip player_id='276516' first='Molly' last='Ladwig'] of Skutt Catholic has been a name we have mentioned for years now because of her D1 play-making ability at the guard position. Last week Ladwig had the highest scoring outburst of her career with a 50 point outing in a victory against Omaha Central High School. As you could assume, this was one of those games that Ladwig made her own. As a player, when you have one of these contests, you usually don't remember too much. It's more of a blur because you are unconscious in a sense and that's what we had happen here. I'm sure we are going to hear about Ladwig at the college level for years to come. She is someone that can really perform under pressure so it'll be interesting to see how she fairs against other D1 competition later on.

We have spoken over and over again about how athletic [player_tooltip player_id='582833' first='Paige' last='Rummans'] is as a competitor. She has coordination, a soft touch, a smart mindset, and a high motor. All of those components together usually lead to a producer in one way or another on the hardwood and that's why Rummans is as dominant as she is. Over her four years on the varsity floor, she has had some noteworthy contests but one of her best came early last week when she recorded a 40 points showing for Saydel. I'm not sure if this is the best game of her career on the court but it's one that she will most definitely remember. Especially since she will be at Illinois State on the Softball diamond following these next few months of high school.

Gothenburg High School got a major W against Valentine High School at the end of the last week and a big reason for their success was because of the production of their Senior - Shooting Guard, [player_tooltip player_id='336044' first='Alex' last='Beveridge']. Beveridge ended the evening with a game high 31 points. This is the second contest against Valentine this season and it's Gothenburg's second victory as well, leaving them with a 16-2 record throughout their first 18 games this Winter. Gothenburg is one of those programs with a handful of producers. They don't just rely on one prospect to do all their work and that shows everyone how hard it is to stop them as a group. If they stick together like this come the Post Season, it's going to take an experienced team to come in and beat them prior to the State Tournament.

A name that we are just getting familiar with out of the 2028 Class is 5'8 SF - [player_tooltip player_id='1185787' first='Rachel' last='Knepper'] of Don Bosco High School. Knepper is an undersized SF, that is going to turn into a CG over her career from the looks of it. This is someone that isn't the tallest but she has decent size, she is willing to score at all three offensive levels, she is a willing rebounder on both sides, and she isn't afraid to do the dirty work in the middle for her squad. Knepper had a 33 point showing to finish up last week as we gear up for the end of the season. She is currently the second leading scorer in PPG for her team this Winter and following this season, I'm sure she is going to take over that statistic. It's early on in Knepper's career but if she sticks with it, there is definitely promise here.

One of the taller prospect out of the 2027 Class in Nebraska is Center, [player_tooltip player_id='865318' first='Reagan' last='Meyers'] of Superior High School. Meyers is someone that is averaging a double-double on her season with over 14.5 PPG and 12.5 RPG as her team sits with a 16-4 record moving into the final few weeks of the regular season. In Superior's contest to finish off last week, Meyers had a game winner against Centennial High School from the post as the buzzer sounded, 44-43. This play was intentional and deliberate. The team drew something up for Meyers to catch with her back to the basket and they executed it to perfection, giving her a look for the win where she capitalized. It's always exciting to have a buzzer beater for the W on your resume and now Meyers has the opportunity to say that moving forward. All in all, this is another one to keep an eye out for in the long run. She looks to be a promising Volleyball prospect as well but who knows where she might end up after the next two years.
