WCAC Semifinals: Bishop Ireton vs St. John’s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the second semi final game, Ireton got their revenge from a loss earlier in the season. After the first the game was close with Ireton, who never trailed, held a 16-13 lead. The Cadets lacked their superstar all-American player that they enjoyed for the last decade but had an array of players that have been stepping up during the season. In the end the Cardinals came away with the victory enjoying a 65-42 win and a trip to the championship game. She was money with the three as she knocked down four of them in the game scoring 15 points for the night. She showed a strong dribble with the ability to overpower smaller guards. She finished with a game high 23 points while going a perfect 8 for 8 from the line. She knocked down threes repeatedly in warmups and the streak continued during the game. She kept her head up on her drive to find teammate that slipped open from defenders. She was also really good in transition and showed excellent body control in the air to finish.
