The combination of size, skill, and athleticism will lead to some comical-looking stat lines in the Great Northern Conference. The Medford wing can play with her back to the basket, knock down perimeter jumpers, block shots, and attack off the dribble, which is uncommon in her part of the state. Baumgartner has the potential to be a coveted scholarship-level athlete but still has some room to grow. The Medford native has been an intriguing two-way player to keep tabs on this season.

Pardeeville has quietly assembled a group of underdogs starting to find their way together. Hulberg has been the Bulldogs' premier perimeter threat and has been consistent this season. She's been a solid shooter from the perimeter, which has forced teams to close out on her, opening up some driving lanes. She's an athletic and physical kid who can play inside and out and beat her initial defender off the dribble. Her versatility is something coaches should love.

The Mount Horeb guard is the x-factor for the Vikings. The more [player_tooltip player_id='915005' first='Courtney' last='Monroe'] touches the ball on the offensive end of the floor, the better the results. She's an excellent creator for others off the dribble, keeps her head up when she attacks the basket, and is a threat to get to the rim. The Mount Horeb sophomore is more of a pass-first kid playing with a handful of kids looking to score when they get time and space. Her mentality is a minor balance for some of the stylistic differences the Vikings have amongst each other, but Monroe has been the one kid in the three games I've seen that made me think she should have the ball more.

Being athletic is one thing, but pairing that with having a motor like no other makes you stand out throughout a game. Rebounding, on its own, may not be the first thing coaches look to evaluate a kid, but it's a good indicator of how they play because it's purely effort-based, and Reyes plays with loads of effort. She does her best work around the basket by drawing fouls around the rim and getting to the free-throw line. Dealing with her for 36 minutes is an absolute handful.
