2026 Posts Poised for Breakout Summers

This spring/summer is crucial to getting on a coaches radar or strengthening the relationship they have with said school. One summer to prove you have what it takes to make an immediate impact at the college level. She threw Shot Put and Discus for her home country of the Bahamas and also placed Top 5 in both events at the FHSAA State Championships. Her body control, clean footwork, and height make her an obvious breakout candidate. She can knock it down from the mid-range and use her frame and handles to get to the rim as well. It's no surprise she scored over 25 points a game and snagged over 20 boards a game. She's relentless on the glass and crashes on both ends. Injury has held her back a bit, so I don't think we've even seen her at her full potential yet. Her length and height allow her to block a ton of shots. In the paint, she's very patient and precise with her footwork to allow her the best look possible. There are not many posts in the 2026 class that are as strong fundamentally or physically as she is. The fact that she is a lefty can also help her recruitability. She moves incredibly well for her size and can even handle the rock a bit. Miraldina can shoot it from outside, play physical in the post, and use her length to deter shots and grab virtually every rebound. College coaches want to see how you can contribute and stand out when playing with and against the best talent. The EYBL circuit is no joke, and it leads to a lot of eyes on you.
