Additional VHSL Quarterfinal Standouts 

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Heritage</strong> <strong>Passing</strong> There were multiple players on Heritage that were fantastic in their blowout win over Charlottesville. What impressed me specifically was their passing. The ball moves really well and finds open cutters and shooters. The passing was great in transition as well. [player_tooltip player_id='985809' first='Alyssa' last='Stanford'], Kaitlyn Puzenski, and [player_tooltip player_id='1213227' first='Riley' last='Makitka'] all had 5+ assists. [player_tooltip player_id='409779' first='Amari' last='Worsham'] was pretty obviously the best player on the floor, and she was outstanding on both ends. Amari is a terrific slasher with great athleticism. She is a defensive playmaker who can get out and get easy buckets off of turnovers. Robinson is a game that promises to be low-scoring and physical. It's not a secret what Robinson is going to do offensively. They run a lot of offense through [player_tooltip player_id='389125' first='Georgia' last='Simonsen'], and Oakton did a good job dealing with it early on. From the second quarter on, Georgia began to find her footing and take over. Georgia is a threat out of the post or a threat putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. She has nice touch and knocked down a three. Prince Edwards shot the ball well early, and it kept them in the game. Where Clarke County dominated this game was in transition and in the paint. Alainah drove the ball well and had a great day on the offensive glass. Alainah hit a three and was terrific this whole game. She has nice size for a wing and is impactful on all three levels. I mentioned what Clarke County was able to do in transition. Paige was great pushing the ball, and she had some nice finishes at the rim.
