Anna added another Breslin Center hit to her track list with a huge performance that helped Rockford defeat Wayne Memorial 61-42 in the semifinals. Anna was in the zone as she buried four triples with a perfect 10 for 10 mark from the charity stripe. She swiped a steal to score a layup and came back to dominate after exiting the game with an ankle injury. Anna drove with determination to score tough layups off the glass and blocked a shot. She ended the game with 30 points, three assists, and three steals.

Kate didn't have eye-popping numbers on the offensive end, but she played outstanding defense and gave her team extra scoring chances by working tirelessly on the boards. Kate battled to secure offensive rebounds, blocked a shot in the paint, and dished an assist to a teammate for a triple. Kate knocked down five free throws for the Rams, finishing the game with five points and nine rebounds.

Audrey knocked down two key triples during Rockford's win against Frankenmuth earlier in the season, and she came through again in the semifinals vs. Wayne Memorial. Audrey pursued rebounds on both ends with reckless abandon and knocked down two clutch triples for the Rams. She beat her defender with a crossover to score a layup, finished another layup off two feet, and converted another bucket at the rim. Audrey turned in a double-double with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists.

Colleena created scoring opportunities for teammates by collapsing the defense with her dribble and she knocked down clutch shots to keep Wayne Memorial within striking distance. She drained a smooth step-back three and created space with her shifty dribbles to score a tough layup to end the 2nd quarter. Colleena dropped in a floater and buried a mid-range pullup jumper. She dished seven assists to teammates and led the Zebras with 15 points.

Sheridan needed to have a big game for West Bloomfield to compete with Belleville and that's exactly what she did. Sheridan started the game by burying a corner 3 and knocked down a confident step-back corner jumper in the second quarter. Her active defense created steals, leading to a layup off two feet in transition. Sheridan drilled a corner triple, knocked down a pull-up jumper off the dribble, and hit another corner three late in the 4th. She scored a team-high 17 points and had five steals for West Bloomfield.

Breasia beat defenders to score a contested floater and made athletic blocks at the rim. She shoveled an assist to a teammate after a backdoor cut and made a great fake-shot assist to a teammate for a layup. Breasia shifted gears to beat defenders off the dribble, using a combination of crossovers and jabs to create space. She finished difficult layups at the rim, created open shots for teammates, and caused fouls driving to the basket. Breasia scored a team-high 17 points (6/6 FTs) with five rebounds and five assists. I'm excited to see her make an immediate impact as a freshman in the WHAC and believe she has All-Conference potential as an NAIA guard.
