Division II-AA Playoff Preview: Day 2 Matchups

Today is going to be exciting as 4 talented teams take the floor looking to advance. It's a battle of Middle Tennessee teams vs. East Tennessee teams! Each of these clubs has had a tremendous season thus far. They've accomplished so much and have battled to get to where they are today. Each of these teams has handled adversity, overcome objections, and now square off in an opportunity to be one step closer to being in position to bring the gold ball back to their campus.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Game 1&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>CPA vs. Knox. Catholic&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They are two talented teams that have very similar qualities. These clubs are disciplined, control the boards, and bring a solid inside/ out game to the party. In my opinion, this game could go either way, as both clubs are very talented in their own right. Both of them play with poise, hunt great shots, and get after it defensively. To be honest with you, it's hard to do a preview on this game cause it's going to be a heavyweight fight. I'm talking about like an Ali vs. Forman type fight where it's going to be a back-and-forth matchup. Both teams have exceptional guard play, wings that can score, girls who can battle around the blocks- I mean, heady ballplayers who can just get the job done. This will be a game of grit and determination as both teams look to execute their stuff efficiently.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I couldn't tell you if this game will be a high-scoring or a low-scoring contest. What I can say is this: There is going to be a lot of talent on the floor. Having poise and winning each possession on both ends of the floor will determine the winner of this game. It's going to be close.
