Strong all-around player. Loves defending. Plays full court basketball on both ends. Thrives off of playing the passing lanes, getting steals and transitioning into offense from there. As a freshman, Kary is already one of the leading scorers and the most significant player on the perimeter for the Silver Lake Eagles. Her shot form is textbook, and I fully expect her shooting to get even better. With that being said, on opening night of the 3A state tournament she shot 73% from the field and 66% from beyond the arc as a guard against the Girard Trojans in a dominant victory.

Junior guard who is comfortable playing on the inside as well as on the perimeter. Really strong FT shooter and is exceptional at drawing fouls. Kailyn shot 84% from the strike against the Girard Trojans in a win while leading the team in fouls drawn against an opponent with 14 for the game. What stood out the most about Kailyn is her solid hands. During the game against the Trojans, she caught an impressive alley-oop lay-in for an and 1 in heavy traffic in the paint with a lot of contact at her mid-section and up. All while still being able to control the ball with the tips of her fingers with ease. The alley-oop was not a set play but it was clearly option#1 for the teammate who through her the ball as it seemed par for the course for Kailyn, which says something about her overall athleticism.

As a sophomore with this talented Hesston Swathers squad, Jaden may not get a tremendous amount of minutes and as a result, her stats may not stand out to you off the bat, but the "eye test" will show you a player who plays fearless and she has a freedom that she plays with on the court that I believe could propel her to be a future captain of this squad.

As a junior, Callie is one of the lead guards on this strong Hesston Swathers squad. She can be a strong cutter and slasher when given the opportunity while also being a strong threat from the perimeter. If her shot is not falling, she has no problem getting points in the mid-range while still being in the flow and rhythm of the game for her team.

Junior for the Colby Eagles who has a particularly smooth game and is one of the leading scorers on this team. Has a strong gas tank and can play all 32 minutes if needed. Shaylee also seems to never be rushed into anything, she knows when to give the ball up and when to attack at all times. She is very efficient, shooting 69% from the field against the Osage City Indians and is not someone who needs to take 3-pointers to be a leading scorer as she did not attempt 1 3pointer in that game and still had a game leading 23 points. Tied with her teammate [player_tooltip player_id='456516' first='Alisabeth' last='Barton'] in a strong win against Osage City on opening night.

#23 Freshman guard with size and high potential. At now, 5'10 has no problem playing point and has no problem playing as a primary scoring option on the wing. She is already the best player on her Osage City Indians squad and has a solid overall feel for the game. She had a lot on her shoulders this year against some premier senior-led 3A teams, but it feels as though it will mold her and not break her for the years to come. Plays all 32 minutes and competes on both ends.

Junior guard for the 3A 2025 state champion's Halstead Dragons, who plays suffocating defense no matter where she's at on the court. Best overall Underclass Defender in the division and plays much bigger than her size @ 5'6. Knows how to utilize her length and has very active hands on the move laterally and also when she's stationery and she's not stationery for very long either. Has her head constantly on a swivel and keeps an eye on every player on the court without losing her own assignment. Most importantly, she plays continuously. She does not pause for celebrations or fist pumps or even the occasional 3point ice in the vein's signals to the crowd. Offensively, her play style is get to the basket at all times and good things will happen which has proven to be exactly right for her. She is a team leader and solid communicator on the floor. This Halstead team with Addisen at the helm next year as a senior should be even more potent with key sophomores returning and a key injured leading scorer coming back. It won't be out of the question to say that the Lady Dragons are favored for a repeat.
