During the Saint Patrick's Day Weekend, the annual Shamrock Classic took place at the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield, Indiana. While there might not have been as much top-end talent as is typical for the event, there were some outstanding young ladies in attendance. Below is a look at five players from Indiana's Class of 2027 who stood out while I was able to see them at the always strong event.

I felt like Mackenzie looked much improved a year ago, and she has continued to build on that and become a really nice small college prospect. She has good length, she continues to get stronger, plus she is playing with a much greater confidence. She is able to get out and go in transition, she can attack and change directions in traffic, plus she is a capable shooter/scorer from the perimeter. I think she's primed for a really nice Spring.

Ben Davis suffered an exodus of players this past Summer, whether it was via graduation or transfer, but Shania remained a Lady Giant and was a key part of their core. She is a strong, athletic, incredibly active forward who is willing to do a lot of the "little things" to help her team win. She is probably better suited as a small forward for the next level, but she's such a good rebounder and tough defender inside, that she finds herself in the mid-post a lot for both her school and club team.

I think the thing I've come to appreciate most about Hannah's game is that she's just solid at everything. She is so well-rounded, if you take something away from her, she'll find another way to contribute and beat you. She is an excellent perimeter shooter, but she has developed into a very good ball-handler with nice vision, plus she seems to be two steps ahead of most everyone else. She plays with great effort, a competitive fire, and she will rebound & defend.

McKenzi is really starting to become a problem for her peers. She plays with a nice motor, she's extremely physical & powerful, but she also moves well and can "out-quick" most opponents who try to match her physicality. She has soft hands, nice touch around the rim and in the mid-post, and she can put it on the floor 2-3 dribbles to get somewhere productively. I also appreciate her ability to rebound, whether it be by blocking out or chasing down caroms outside of her area.

Paige has developed into one of the better frontline prospects in the state, regardless of class. She has good size, strength, and physicality, plus she is a fairly balanced athlete. She has become a much more effective scorer in the mid-post, though she can still take most defenders down to the block and play with her back to the basket. If I had any critique of her, it's that she could stand to be even a little more selfish/aggressive. She has 20-point, 15-rebound potential.
