[player_tooltip player_id='443364' first='Tiara' last='Herron'] was excellent for John Marshall in their run as the state runner-up. Her vision and control of the game were outstanding in the semifinal. Tiara shot the ball from three well, and although their loss to Central Wise in the final was uncompetitive, she kept the game interesting in the first half with her offense. Tiara is a complete offensive guard who I could see being a riser in a talented 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='749391' first='Payton' last='Walters'] can be the hub of an offense, and I think people forget that she can be the centerpiece of an offense because of the abundance of talent Osbourn Park has. Payton had a couple of solid games for Osbourn Park in their state title run, but if you watch her this spring/summer, you'll see exactly why she is one of the best guards in the state. Payton defends at a high level, and she plays both guard positions well. She can shoot, and she is a tough cover when she's going downhill. She was great last summer, and she will be stellar this AAU season.

The sky is the limit for [player_tooltip player_id='443350' first='Micah' last='Ojo']. Even when she wasn't shooting the ball particularly well, she had an obvious impact on the game in Princess Anne's state title repeat. She is one of the best defenders in the state and can guard multiple positions. She is one of the top shot blockers in the state and is a terrific spot-up shooter. Micah affects the game in almost any way you can think of. She has the size you look for from a wing, and she is one of the best players in the 2027 class in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='786440' first='Janey' last='Salinas'] had one of the best games of her young Osbourn Park career in the state final. Janey hit a handful of big shots in this one, and she was put in a position to step up early in this game with [player_tooltip player_id='749391' first='Payton' last='Walters'] in foul trouble. Janey is a great spot-up shooter, and she does a great job playing off the ball for this Osbourn Park team. Janey has great size and is a solid defender. Janey doesn't get the chance to show it much on this OP team, but she is a good ball-handler and passer. She can play the 1 when asked of her as well. Janey is a player who has risen the rankings and one of the better bench players in the state this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='443620' first='Madison' last='Smith'] was fantastic for Manchester in their playoff run, and what she did defensively caught my attention. Madison has great defensive versatility and had some eye-popping blocks. Madison can shoot mid-range and does a great job on the glass. Madison is a defensive playmaker, and she is the kind of defensive wing that every team looks for at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='443360' first='Ellery' last='Giddens'] had a nice game in Princess Anne's final win over William Fleming, but she caught my eye in multiple games I watched her in Princess Anne's run. Ellery plays both guard positions well, but when she is the one, she is at her best. Ellery has a high IQ and can control a game. She is a good shooter and scores at all three levels. As I mentioned earlier, this 2027 class has outstanding guards, and Ellery is the second-highest-rated point guard in this class.
