Micah put on an epic performance in the final last year, and although she didn't have as big of a day offensively, she was still great. Micah had some nice finishes inside and had an all-around elite game. Tristan is an outstanding defender who can cover multiple positions. She plays hard, and her energy was impactful today. Tiara had a handful of outstanding drives and had a great day shooting the three. Central Wise had a big lead most of the first half but a couple of big shots, one of them being a long three at the first-half buzzer from Tiara cut the lead to 8. She consistently drove the ball well and hit short mid-ranges. Emmah got to the rim whenever she wanted, and she made some nice passes. Emmah did an excellent job on the glass and was in control of this game throughout. One of the big differences in this game was what Central Wise did on the offensive glass. Abbie was one of the players who did great work inside.
