2028 Standouts from the Southeast at 3SSB Session 1

In this article:
Adidas’ 3SSB Circuit began their 2025 Season with their first stop in Rock Hill, SC. The facility was beautiful and 3SSB did a great job with the marketing, promotion, and hospitality of this event. Here were a few Class of 2028 players located in the Southeast that made good impressions throughout the weekend:
Cailyn did a great job of handling the ball under pressure and controlling the pace at the 16U level on Saturday. She hit a couple really sweet pull-up jumpers in transition and has a nice looking shot from long range. I was really impressed by her ball handling skills and ability to get to the basket with her crossover. Cailyn ended the weekend scoring 10 ppg at one level above her class.
Highlights
Jayla is a speedy PG that plays defense and uses her length to come up with steals and block shots of other guards. Her crossover is mean with a quick change of direction and speed that baits the defender. She’s a good athlete that can sky for boards and get it up the floor in a hurry with the dribble or a pass ahead. Her shot from deep is solid & she can finish well with either hand on the drive.

Aaniyah has some serious size as a legit 6’4-6’5 post prospect. I was impressed with her soft hands and ability to gather some tough passes in traffic. Her length and frame is going to continue to get her looks at the P4 level. She can really get up too as I saw her make a layup that would have been nearly impossible to block.

Cali had a nice weekend as a stretch post who knocked down quite a few 3’s and mid-range shots. She had some big blocks and used her length to snag rebounds at a solid level. Her mobility and desire to run the floor will make her highly recruitable for the next level.
Highlights
Ella might have been the most impressive 2028 I saw this weekend. She was hitting some big time 3’s in the arena as a player with a high release on her shot. With that high release, she did a nice job of catching the ball or even rebounding it high and keeping it up there. I liked how she crashed the boards and was able to get to the rim as well on her way to 15.6 ppg as the number five overall scorer in 16U. Her size, strength, and versatility is going to make her one of the most recruited players in the Southeast for years to come.

This was my first time seeing Anaiyaa live & she looked like the best player in the game I saw. She had a really nice move to the basket and finished at the rim. After that move, she scored with her left hand over a bigger defender just a few possessions later. Her defensive intensity was great as she smothered her opponent when they had the ball.
Highlights
Aleigha is one of the two Parish twins & I had to keep checking their jerseys numbers when they made a big play. She had a nice looking step-through move and crashed the boards with high intensity. There were some really authoritative and big blocks from the twins this weekend that set the tone and raised the energy in the tight game I watched. Both twins have solid frames and play with good activity on both sides of the ball.

Gabrielle is one of the two Parish twins & I had to keep checking their jerseys numbers when they made a big play. She finished through contact inside and had a nice looking shot from mid-range as well. There were some really authoritative and big blocks from the twins this weekend that set the tone and raised the energy in the tight game I watched. Her defense was intense and led to a lot of turnovers and easy buckets for her team in transition. Both twins have solid frames and play with good activity on both sides of the ball.
