The [program_tooltip program_id='713840' first='Charleston' last='Raptors'] had little troubles in the game we watched them play today. The Raptors had just 6 girls in attendance this weekend in Rock Hill. [player_tooltip player_id='366551' first='DaNariyah' last='Williams'] continues here strong play into the Grassroots season. Williams an athletic forward just brings so much effort and grit to the floor each time out. She constantly plays every possession to the fullest and all day long was on the floor for loose balls or claiming a rebound or putback off the glass. DaNariyah finished with 14 points and 15 rebounds according to my unofficial stats over the [program_tooltip program_id='1236583' first='Orangeburg' last='XPress'].

[player_tooltip player_id='324560' first='Maliyah' last='Birch'] plays well beyond her years on the floor. She really does a great job of setting up her teammates on the floor with open looks. Maliyah was able to finish plays here today at the bucket. She can score from either side of the bucket. She finished the night with 21 points in a lopsided win over for the Raptors.

[player_tooltip player_id='688645' first='Ella' last='Hunter'] seems to be at her best when she gets a open look out on the perimeter. Ella finished with 11 points while connecting on 3 three-pointers from downtown. She really plays her game well with smart shot selection. Ella never seems to force her shot while on the floor. She plays at Oceanside Collegiate Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id='357552' first='Demi' last='Gray'] and [player_tooltip player_id='357553' first='Aiyanna' last='Moses'] were key parts of the Berkeley HS Lady Stags Class 5A-Division 2 State Championship run this past March. The duo both made the move over from Goose Creek to Berkeley HS last summer. Gray just does a little bit of this and that. By the end of the day, you look up and say wow she really impacted this game. Demi really takes pride in being a good on the ball defender. She brings a full-out effort every time out with her strong work ethic.

Moses a point guard has some quick hands to bring some chaos to the floor. Aiyanna was able to set up her teammates all day long in the win. She used some timely passing skills and court vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='761890' first='Andrea' last='Kelly'] really goes under the radar here at times for the Raptors. Andrea brings production around the bucket with putbacks and scoring the ball. She's flashy at all in what she does for the Raptors. Andrea finished with 10 points here today. She attends Ashley Ridge HS

[program_tooltip program_id='894405' first='Capital' last='City Tyrants'] Storm Back to Win:

The [program_tooltip program_id='894405' first='Capital' last='City Tyrants'] jumped out 12-0 to start the game and really had to fend off the [program_tooltip program_id='1236583' first='Orangeburg' last='XPress'] 16U squad here today. The [program_tooltip program_id='894405' first='Capital' last='City Tyrants'] would prevail in the end behind the strong play of [player_tooltip player_id='1236008' first='Madison' last='Bethea'] and [player_tooltip player_id='429822' first='Dominique' last='Briggs'].

Bethea is certainly a new name for the database. Madison who attends Spring Valley HS finished with 21 points here today. She did all of her scoring by going to the basket and finishing at the bucket.

Briggs is a physical forward who likes to play her game out on the wing. Dominique finished with 13 points in the win today. She was able at times to bully defenders with her size to the bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='582734' first='Coco' last='Charley'] the smallest player on the floor finished with 12 points while connecting on 4 three-pointers here today for the [program_tooltip program_id='1236583' first='Orangeburg' last='XPress']. Charley plays at North HS for Head Coach I'rek Hartwell. Youngster [player_tooltip player_id='1040958' first='Harmony' last='McCaskill'] finished with 8 points while playing in the backcourt. McCaskill is playing an age group up from Lake Marion HS.
