[player_tooltip player_id='674578' first='Adelyn' last='Thompson'] saved the best part of her game for the very last second and calmly knocked down the game winning three. Thompson has the ability to put a bad play behind her and keep on playing with confidence. Her pull-up jumper was smooth and on line even when her shot wasn't falling early. You could see the technique, confidence, and the moxy she plays with. Thompson handles the ball well and creates scoring opportunities for her teammates. When Thompson protects the ball and lets the game come to her, she is a force to be dealt with. In addition to the game wining three, Thompson made some other incredible shots, including a running floater from the free-throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='514527' first='Arianna' last='Walker'] came to play and put a lot of folks and coaches on notice. Walker is not that "next door" player you are use to seeing. Walker had it cooking from the left side of the rim and showed a high degree of skill, athleticism, and a high IQ with her play on the court. Walker has good size at the guard position and rebounded well. I really liked her ability to get the rebound and push the ball up the court. She continues to be a play maker and made some nice passes on the break. That's always been her strong asset to create scoring opportunities for her teammates. The biggest difference in Walker from Lakeland and until now is her confidence. Walker is still a very good defender and at Apache, she had one of the top defensive plays of the day blocking a three point attempt in transition. She then followed that one with another partial block on a three point attempt. Down the stretch Walker had another drive to left for a three point play to cut the deficit to two, and set up the game winning shot. In the final seconds, it was Walker who passed the ball to a teammate for the game winner. Walker understands the moment and got the ball to the right person at the right time.

[player_tooltip player_id='933334' first='Shelby' last='Gaines'] played a very smart game. She made some clutch shots when the opportunities presented themselves. She showed her ability to go against the flow of the defense and pull up for the mid-range shot off the glass. She then connected on another mid-range pull-up jumper from the baseline. Gaines was a play maker all game long, using her quickness and savvy to create shots for her teammates. Down the stretch she pushed the ball in transition and passed to the corner for a much needed three pointer with game on the line.

Samaria King connected on a long range pull-up jumper early on and made plays all over the court throughout the game. King was aggressive on the defensive end, getting steals and deflections. King approaches defense with a "never say die" attitude and never quits on a play. Down the stretch, she fought the ball and had IQ to throw the ball off of he defender. in the middle of fighting for the ball. King was also a star on the offensive end, knocking down at least three crucial three pointers, including a three in the waning moments to keep the game within reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='633529' first='Mia' last='Chandler'] showed a lot of heart coming off of an injury and played well, looking athletic as ever. Chandler was solid on the defensive end and was very good on the boards. a force on the defensive and rally rebounding well. Her ability to grab the rebound and go was impressive and showcased some of her uniqueness as a player. She looked really good on the wing on offense and was able to run pick and roll from the wing position. She use that play to score often and defensive guards stood no chance. On defense, she held it down in the paint, and her perimeter defense was equally as good. She showed the ability to prevent drives and also the ability to switch and cover guards out in space.
