Maliyah was able to change speeds all game while getting to the basket for some easy buckets. She does a great job of recognizing coverages and making that extra pass to an open teammate along the way. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357552' first='Demi' last='Gray']</strong> just a heck of the job when it comes to swarming the ball on the defensive end of the floor. She brings a pesky tough mind set to the table for the Lady Raptors. Demi finished with 10 points in the win. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='258131' first='Natalia' last='Madison']</strong> plays her best basketball around the paint area collecting loose change and rebounds around the bucket. She manufactured 8 points in the win over Redline (GA). <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366551' first='DaNariyah' last='Williams']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357553' first='Aiyanna' last='Moses']</strong> both finished the game with 7 points in the win. Williams and Moses both impact the game with their total all-out efforts on both ends of the court. Williams plays every play like it's her last one on the floor while Moses really likes to get after the ball and cause chaos with her quick hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='476481' first='Callan' last='Ledford']</strong> from Murray County HS (GA) led the Redline with 15 points. Sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490767' first='Naydia' last='Shaw']</strong> led the purple and gold with 16 points. Naydia does her best work around the paint area while extending out to the elbow at times. She will really look to bully defenders on the way to the bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Youngster <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='800460' first='Harmony' last='Bostick']</strong> a member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class is playing up a few age groups. Harmony a long and agile forward really started to show her skill set from the perimeter here this weekend. She led the break at times in transition and felt very comfortable playing out on the wing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1248272' first='Chaya' last='James'] </strong>is a true post player from the Charlotte, NC and plays at Olympic HS. James a back to the basket player is best in the half court set style of play. She really does a nice job of carving out space down on the block. Chaya has a soft set of hands to catch anything thrown in her direction. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='822247' first='McKenzie' last='Register']</strong> led the way for FBC UED with 21 points while connecting on 4 three-pointers from downtown. Register played the game with plenty of confidence from the backcourt. She hails from Memphis East HS. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>H2 Basketball</em></strong>: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops hadn't seen H2 Basketball all spring long on the Grassroots Circuit. The Lowcountry based team from the Hilton Head Island area lost to FBC Next Up S40 62-50 here today. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='991294' first='JaNia' last='Hayward']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='378103' first='Amirah' last='Brown']</strong> both were some bright spots on the roster for Head Coach Matthew Fisher-Davis.
