Memorial Day Classic: Versatility Masters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lady Phenom is hosting their Memorial Day Classic in Rock Hill, SC this weekend with a good mix of teams from the southeast competing this holiday weekend.  I was able to catch day 1 of the event, so here are the versatile standouts from my notebook.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block her range shooting the ball.  Not only can she shoot outside, but she was showing off her versatility on the inside knowing how to go to work getting the entry pass and scoring off the glass.  She did touches flashing across the court getting the pass and going to work or making the pass herself.  She did well knowing how to make adjustments scoring on fast breaks through some tough contact.  She shifts the defense with her movements and knows what role she is fits into based on the lineup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block over the court showing her versatility being able to knock down shots from deep and get inside to battle for some points.  She doesn't mind barreling to the rim with the ball protecting each possession.  You even see how much she loves her team from the bench when she's using her breaks to stand up and cheer for her teammates staying engaged in the game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- job seeing her own open lanes taking a defensive rebound coast to coast scoring on the fast break.  She turned right around to grab another rebound and hit her teammate in transition for some more shows off her IQ when she's on the court knowing exactly how to move with the ball to create a play or move without the ball to get the open look.  She crashes the boards battling against anyone for some rebounds, and she knows what to do next to get a play going.  She picks the pocket of her opponents and takes it all the way the other direction.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
