This weekend marks the annual Queen of the Rock tournament. This year, the event is headquartered at the PSM Fieldhouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana. There are a number of quality programs in action, from shoe company teams to independent teams, as well as geographically from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and other states. Below is a quick look at a handful of players who stood out when I was able to see them during Saturday evening's action.

[player_tooltip player_id='567130' first='Gracyn' last='Gilliard'], 2026, 5-10 G/W, Center Grove H.S., West Virginia Thunder-Riego GUAA 17U
- When Gracyn transferred into Center Grove from Munster last Summer, there were a few people who questioned how she would fit in. The answer was seamlessly. She is such a nice athlete, a skillful ballplayer, and a coachable kid who just seems to want to get better. She has ball skill, touch at all three levels, vision, and a nice all-around feel for the game. She moves well in all directions, and she plays with a good motor. This Spring will be big for her recruiting.

[player_tooltip player_id='486489' first='Jordynn' last='Johnson'], 2026, 5-5 PG, Elkhart H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] Hustle E40 17U
- Jordynn has always been a nice little point guard prospect, but Saturday she showed a very competitive game and tried to help her team compete with a couple of strong programs as long as she could. She is very strong at her height, compact, and she plays low to the ground but explosively. She has always been a creator/distributor off the dribble, but I felt like she shot a good ball Saturday as well. She has the potential to be a really nice small college PG.

[player_tooltip player_id='999408' first='Hillary' last='Labis'], 2028, 5-10 G, Westville H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] Elite 3SSB 15U
- Last Spring & Summer when I saw Hillary, she was a skillful and talented forward who did a nice job at all three levels, whether it was battling for rebounds, scoring it in the mid-post, or playing comfortably around the perimeter. Now, however, she is a legit guard prospect who has really worked on her guard game. She shot it well Saturday evening, she has tightened her handle quite a bit, and she can create for others or score it consistently herself outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='917414' first='Zo'e' last='Peyton'], 2028, 6-2 F/C, Lawrence North H.S., West Virginia Thunder-Riego GUAA 15U
- Zo'e is one of many really nice 2028 prospects from Central Indiana, and she shows a lot of flashes of her potential. She has a great frame, nice length, plus the ability to add nice strength to her frame. She runs the floor well, has some bounce in her step, and she changes directions fairly well for her size. She is still most comfortable posting up with her back to the basket, as she likes to feel her way to scores. But she is also working on building a face-up game.

[player_tooltip player_id='990044' first='Riley' last='Schellhammer'], 2028, 5-8 PG, Fishers H.S., Michigan Crossover EYBL 15U
- Riley entered high school with a great deal of expectations, and she performed admirably, averaging 13.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.3 steals per game on one of the state's toughest schedules. Saturday, she looked much stronger and more aggressive to the basket, and she did a nice job of getting her defenders off-balance and drawing contact. She has always been a good shooter, but becoming a well-rounded scorer should really help her game.
