The 918 wing has shot the ball at a high clip this summer and it was no different in Norman. A catch and shoot specialist by trade, Sudbeck runs to her spots along the perimeter in transition. And always makes herself available in the halfcourt. Then she lets it fly quickly and accurately with a repeatable motion. Along with the shooting capabilities, her height, plus wingspan and motor leads to rebounding and defensive impact. With traits that translate well to the next level, Sudbeck should continue to rise.

After watching Barrett this past weekend in Oklahoma, it's no shock to see her as one of the more well regarded prospects in Arkansas. She's smooth and always looked in control. Gets skinny to slip through traps, then quickly stops and scores with great balance and fundamentals. Her combination of height, athleticism and skills make the college level upside obvious.

Decoster is gaining valuable reps as an interior presence for the JYD program. Goods hands at the rim for finishing and plays physical through contact for scores and rebounds. Complete with the desire to sprint the floor, which her teammates often rewarded her. Even got out and jumped a passing lane for an agile steal. There's always room at the next level for post prospects who thrive in their roles and do the dirty work like Decoster.

Peoples is an example of how little things can add up to a big impact. Plays tall and physical when it comes to rebounding. Especially finding her way on to the offensive glass. Good mix of energy and defensive acumen. From hustling back to make stops in transition, to switch-ability in the halfcourt. Great early foundation for a prospect who should be in line to make a jump as a sophomore.

With a quick first step, Norwood thrived on drives in the halfcourt. Which she combined with off the ball movement and transition speed to be a terror in a Saturday night win. Continually lit up the opposition at the rim with floaters and layups. Her combination of speed and smoothness made it look easy. As she blew past defenders but never looked hurried.

Incoming 8th grader playing up, Hulse has good foundation as a scorer. Played in the soft spot against the zone defense. Either using her height advantage and long arms to shoot over close outs. Or put it on the floor and attack the basket. Drew her fair share of fouls on drives, earning points at the charity stripe. Will need to continue to refine her finishing abilities on drives, but promising signs that she will hit the ground running at the varsity level.
