[player_tooltip player_id='674578' first='Adelyn' last='Thompson'] was one of the most polished offensive players I saw on Saturday. Her midrange was smooth and she can kill you off the dribble, the catch, or the stop and pop. Thompson has good ball handling abilities and can get to her spots on the floor. She can also get down hill and take it to the goal with no fear or respect for the opponent. Thompson has the ability to finish at the rim with grit and craftiness. Her three point shot was also deadly on Saturday. It's no accident she hit the game winning three at the buzzer a few weeks ago. She is one of those even keeled players who can rise to the occasion and the moment is never too big.

[player_tooltip player_id='741734' first='Sienna' last='Williams'] was one of the top shooter in the building and connected on the outside all weekend long. She closed out the tournament with a 22 point - six three point effort. On Saturday, the young sniper was just as impressive. She shot the three with accuracy and confidence. There were other areas that also were impressive. Williams showed an ability to instinctively score off a steal with the left or right hand. Her defense was also on point and she played very well in the passing lanes. Williams plays with great intensity and makes things happen on both sides of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246258' first='Danessa' last='Pierce'] is one cool customer on the court. She has very good “court-presence” and nothing looks like it's forced when she is on the court. Pierce makes good decisions and can maneuver on the court with good ball handling skills. She gives great effort on defense and has the ability to steal it and go. She is a solid guard on both sides of the court and she continues to get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='1118795' first='Angel' last='Pierce'] number is a physical guard who is just scratching the surface of her potential, and the Freshman is off to a good start. Pierce plays with no worries about contact. She actually embraces it and that's something every player on the court doesn't want. Pierce has good handles that continue to improve. She has quickness and has the ability to change direction on a dime. That makes her dangerous on the court and there were several plays where it stood out. Pierce faked a downhill move going right, stopped on a dime, crossed back to the left hand and connected on a sweet midrange jumper. Her speed and agility are weapons that she will continue to use in her arsenal. She also possesses great confidence and that's another tool that will drive the young prospect to higher heights.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246256' first='Sydney' last='Battle'] (cover photo) played well on a Saturday and had the potential to be a solid player at the forward position. Her offensive game is still developing but she knows how to get position in the post and receive the pass with the defender on her. She scores easily when facing the basket in the paint. Battle rebounded the ball well and had some nice putbacks as well. The young forward is athletic, has good length, and has quickness and straight line speed for her size. She gives good effort on defense and plays the passing lanes well. She has quickness and determination and gets to loose balls with her size and motor.
