[player_tooltip player_id='741652' first='Brianna' last='Norman'] was excellent for Norfolk Christian. Brianna consistently got to the rim whenever she wanted, and she had a handful of fantastic finishes. Brianna has elite quickness, and she has the ball on a string when she's handling it. She can knock down jump shots, and she did a good job throwing entry passes early. Brianna is a complete offensive point guard, and she does a good job on the perimeter defensively.

Zya Small was someone that caught my eye when I watched her last year. Zya is an elite athlete, and you saw that on a couple of her rebounds. She is strong and has great balance. You see her finish through contact a lot, and she is someone that's difficult to stop once she gets going downhill. She hit a big three to stop a Norfolk run late, and she was as good as anyone on the court in the second half.

The big takeaway from S3s win over Elizabeth Seton was how good S3s defense was. They did a good job denying entry passes, and their ball pressure gave Seton problems. They hounded Seton's guards, and they forced a lot of turnovers that led to easy buckets. Filomena Luis' defense was amazing, and she was a huge part of what S3 was able to do. She is a tremendous athlete and is very strong. She is a relentless defender who never allows herself to get beat at the POA. She turned defense to offense early and got herself a few easy buckets. She has a good handle and does a good job passing when going downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='376328' first='Syvannah' last='Dawson'] had a couple of huge buckets down the stretch for S3 in a game she dominated. Savannah knocked down a handful of spot-up threes, and she was money in big spots. She hit a three from the corner and had a nice finish at the rim. She had a great hesi that got her to the rim, and her buckets were momentum swingers. She dominated offensively on all three levels and finished with 33 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='433887' first='Zoe' last='Osby'] didn't shoot a high percentage today, and honestly, I felt she settled a little bit with some of the mid-rangers she shot. Zoe does such a good job putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim against the bigs that match up with her. She consistently got to the line of her drives, and I loved the level of effort she showed on the offensive glass late in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='433841' first='Alexandra' last='Vandiver'] had arguably the best performance of the day. She showed her full arsenal of skills for a short-handed St. Mary's Annapolis team. She knocked down a handful of spot-up trees, and she made a living getting to her spots in the mid-range. Alexandra did work out the post and drove from the perimeter to hit jumpers over outstretched defenders. She did a great job on the offensive glass as well. The rising senior finished with 42 points in a win, then followed that up with 27 in a loss.
