The future at Millard West is bright. They return a ton of promising young prospects moving forward and I'm really curious how that is going to go. Someone out of their 2027 Class, who should make major steps this season is [player_tooltip player_id='897024' first='Kinley' last='Morgan'] at the SG spot. Morgan will be a player with experience, talent, and a lot of promise moving into her Junior season. From my understanding, Morgan should receive some noteworthy minutes to kick things off and she can build from there. She will be attacking off the wing a majority of the time but she can also be deadly in transition. If opponents don't account for her early on, she could put together a season to look back on.

Lake Mills is primed to put together another memorable season this upcoming Winter with the 2026 Class that they will have in their possession. This 2026 Class is stacked with talent for Lake Mills. Someone out of this Class, who can definitely hold her own on the high school floor is [player_tooltip player_id='1195830' first='Grace' last='Bechtel'] at the PG spot. Bechtel checks off a lot of boxes for collegiate coaches. She makes smart plays, doesn't force any action, she controls pace of play, she can make a play when needed for her team, and she is selfless. It's never about her or about her taking credit. It's a total team effort and that is something you love to see from an outside point-of-view.

[player_tooltip player_id='884636' first='Cici' last='Fate'] of [program_tooltip program_id='716010' first='Western' last='Iowa Express'] and Treynor High School is a name we will hear more about this upcoming Winter. Fate is a 5'3 SG, that can also move over to the 1 spot to run her team's action. She thrives in the aspects of having high energy, being a great teammate, she possesses natural touch and instincts, all while being someone that you love to compete with. Fate's put together a nice Spring AAU campaign so far and I can't wait to see how that translate to the high school floor throughout the month of June.

I am fairly new to [player_tooltip player_id='1254445' first='Jaisie' last='Jannsen'] and her game but from what I've seen the past few weeks, Jannsen can play. That's probably nothing new to anyone that understands her game but her mixture of size, skill, and prowess is impressive. She is someone that dominates between the blocks on both ends. That was obvious last Winter with her production. I think Jannsen is going to have the chance to play with college Basketball or Volleyball. It'll really be her choice. If she continues to get better in either sport over the next few months, she is going to be a handful for her Senior season in both!

When it comes to dedicated players of the game, look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='910324' first='Isabelle' last='Foglesong'] of Colfax High School and [program_tooltip program_id='712617' first='Lady' last='Pure Prep'] AAU. Fogelsong loves the game, she seems to be gaining confidence over-time, and she is sticking with it. When you have that combination of things, it can take you to some places in this game and I'm exciting to see where that is. Foglesong led Colfax last Winter in a lot of aspects at the Varsity level. Let's see how she follows that up this upcoming season!
