The future at Millard West is bright. They return a ton of promising young prospects moving forward and I’m really curious how that is going to go. Someone out of their 2027 Class, who should make major steps this season is Kinley Morgan Kinley Morgan 5'7" | SG Millard West | 2027 NE at the SG spot. Morgan will be a player with experience, talent, and a lot of promise moving into her Junior season. From my understanding, Morgan should receive some noteworthy minutes to kick things off and she can build from there. She will be attacking off the wing a majority of the time but she can also be deadly in transition. If opponents don’t account for her early on, she could put together a season to look back on.

The Millard West system is one of the hardest places to play in the state because of their mixture of an elite roster, sound coaching, and the amount of effort they give throughout each contest. Someone that is going to grow up in their group, who should play a little this season and a lot by the time she is an upperclassman is SG, Kinley Morgan Kinley Morgan 5'7" | SG Millard West | 2027 NE . It’s no disrespect to Morgan, this Varsity roster is just a tough one to crack though. Especially when it’s returning most of its players from a 28-1 season a year ago but that shouldn’t deter her from working for a spot. Morgan has balance, vision, smarts, a soft touch on the ball, and a fundamental release with the basketball whenever she is attempting a jumper. Those things are all positive and when used in the correct way, they can be deadly. As long as she sticks to the plan and trust the process, I’m sure her time will come before everything is compete.
