We've made it through spring AAU and "June ball" and players will be back in school before you know it. With a bunch of movement in the rankings this summer, let's take a look at some of the biggest stock boosters in the 2027 class.

Skeeter seems like she's been playing for South Laurel since she graduated elementary school but she keeps improving. A smart player with a high basketball IQ, Mabe has good feel for the game and is an active rebounder around the bucket. She has some guard skills but does most of her damage inside the free throw line. Mabe is one of the most versatile players in the Junior class.

Dunbar is extremely young, having graduated only one Senior last year and having 6 different middle schoolers logging varsity minutes in at least half of the games last year. The key to immediate success this season could be the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='743659' first='Ellie' last='Lavey']. Lavey is capable of a double-double every night out. She'll need to improve her three point shooting to reach the next level in her game but Ellie is a player to keep an eye out for in the 11th region next season.

An athletic slasher from the guard position, Brown recently transferred to Douglass from Scott County. Adrianna is a quick player who can disrupt opposing offenses with her on the ball defense. Brown has a ways to go as a shooter before she can be a consistent threat from behind the three point line but she has all the tools to be a scholarship level player by graduation day.

GRC lost 5 Seniors to graduation but the cupboard is far from bare in Winchester. Stakelin is in line for a lot more touches and shots per game as a Junior and a bet on her to be successful would be a smart one. Kyleigh needs to be a more confident shooter from the perimeter but her mechanics aren't bad so she should be able to shoot the ball well if she makes it a focus to improve in that area.
