This AAU season was the basically the first time we had the chance to see 2029's playing up at the 15U level to compete within the high school ranks. Playing up isn't always the case but even hooper who played their own age level of 8th grade were showing up.

[player_tooltip player_id='899203' first='Emery' last='Schmidt'] has a picture perfect shooting stroke from deep off the catch on rotation, she can put it the floor and get into the teeth of a defense for a closer look at the hoop or for an assist to an open teammate, or she can back-cut her opponent to death for easy slips to the bucket inside the lane. Either way, Schmidt does a great job of holding her own within her personal matchup, while also being a difference maker if you leave her open from deep on the outside. This AAU season Schmidt was a killer against zones. I'm excited to see what she does with the promising Bennington squad over the next 3-4 years.

Lincoln Christian is going to be looking for production throughout their entire program these next few months as they lose their two main sources of production due to graduation. That's where [player_tooltip player_id='897131' first='Stella' last='Burgher'] steps up. This is a very tough program to see the varsity floor as a Freshman but it might be possible for Burgher. She comes into Fall at 5'10 and as a CG so her versatility will be there to move around whenever she may need to be. She is mainly going to be considered a CG over her career, with a chance to move to the 2 spot at times. Within this system, prospects learn how to play the game the right way and I think that's only going to benefit Burgher more in the long run as a competitor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049055' first='Justice' last='Love'] hopped on over to Iowa to compete moving forward in AAU ball during the Spring and Summer seasons. Love made the move to All Iowa Attack out of Des Moines and she is coming off of a respectable season the last 6-8 months. Love is considered a SG, that primarily likes to play off of the ball. She is someone that goes to the wing or corner in transition, always looking to space the floor for herself and her fellow teammates. There is still a big question mark as to what Love will turn out to be in the end but she is dedicated. She stays working in her off-season and that is going to help her become the best version of herself before you know it.

If you have been following along for the past couple of years, you know that [player_tooltip player_id='896839' first='Grace' last='Lucero Miner'] is going to be a killer at the SG spot with her Millard West High School team over her career. I refer to Miner as little Jimmer Ferdette. A volume shooter, that has a chance to let it go off the catch or dribble with very limited space and time on the clock. Over the past season GLM has demonstrated that she is also adding a lot of skills to her bag as a PG. Over-time, she could have the ability to slide over and play the 1 if need be. If she learns to facilitate as well as she shoots, opponents better watch out because then we are talking about a future D1 player.
