Alex was a relentless rebounder for Mona Shores at the Northwood Team Camp. Nobody could keep her off the glass--she grabbed many offensive boards, scoring strong put-backs off two feet with both hands and forcing defenders to put her on the free throw line. She knocked down her shots with confidence from the charity stripe. Alex jumped into the passing lanes to create steals and pushed the ball up the court with both hands in transition. She's a high motor prospect who can do it all, and I'm excited to see her do it all for the Sailors this winter.

Adrianna is a versatile wing/forward prospect who helped Pewamo-Westphalia have an outstanding Northwood Team Camp. She pinned her defender with a strong seal, used a drop step, and finished the contested layup off two feet. Adrianna shot the ball with confidence from beyond the arc and is becoming a perimeter scoring threat. Adrianna used great pivots around the basket to score contested layups with both hands. She walled up and moved her feet to force missed shots on the defensive end. Adrianna was an aggressive rebounder, and I expect her to have a stellar sophomore season for a team that looks like a serious contender.

Eloise was a long and physical forward prospect who left a great first impression at Northwood Team Camp. She was a rebounding force for Ludington, securing many rebounds on both ends, including two offensive boards on the same possession. She scored an offensive rebound put back, drove hard to the basket for a layup, and made good entry passes to teammates down low. Eloise worked hard to maintain her positioning on defense and used her length to deflect passes.

Charlie turned in a big first game for Fenton at the Northwood Team Camp. She battled to secure an offensive rebound and scored the put-back off two feet with her left hand. Charlie can change the course of a game when she's left open on the perimeter. She proved it again, burying two triples from the wing and another from the top of the key. Charlie knocked down her free throw after causing a foul and looks ready for a breakout sophomore season this winter.

Lauren is a shifty guard who showed her playmaking abilities with Mona Shores at the Northwood Team Camp. She drained a pure wing jumper and finished a full-speed breakaway layup with her left hand off two feet. Lauren swiped the ball away on defense, raced up the court, spun, and scored the and-one layup. She hit the deck to secure loose balls, deflected passes, and pursued offensive rebounds.

After graduating a pair of productive point guards from the program, it's clear the Highlanders have their next great guard joining the squad this season. The mark of a sharpshooter is efficiency, and that's exactly the type of shooter Lyla is, an efficient one. She makes good decisions with the ball in her hands and makes the most of her open looks. Lyla was clutch for Howell against an elite opponent, leading the team with four three-pointers, including a go ahead triple from the corner with 15 seconds left. She crashed the boards to secure an offensive rebound and threw a soft entry pass on target for the assist. Lyla ripped the ball swiftly by a defender from the top of the key, drove by with a burst, and finished the layup with her left through contact. She looked impressive at Northwood Team Camp and will play a huge role this winter.

A year ago, Maci was a colt finding her footing at Northwood Team Camp as an incoming freshman. She showed flashes of potential, playing mostly off the ball in the paint. Fast forward a year and now she's racing up and down the court like a Mustang--turning up the heat on defense, handling the ball with control and confidence, showing her ability to be the lead guard. Maci snagged a steal, pushed the ball the length of the court, and forced a foul. She grabbed a defensive rebound, went coast to coast, spun, and dropped in the floater. Her aggressive defense and length caused several deflections and steals. Maci deflected a pass, stole the ball, and finished with a left-handed breakaway layup. She stole the ball again to score a transition layup and intercepted another pass, then took it all the way for two more points. Maci threw a strong hammer pass to an open teammate for an assist and buried a pair of step-back jumpers. She finished layups with both hands around the rim off one and two feet. Maci has length, versatility, and skills that give her a high ceiling as a wing/guard prospect in this class.
