As we approach the all important NCAA July Live Periods, there are several Southern Arizona players looking to establish themselves as players on the next level. Here are a few more players that I feel will be players to watch during these next few weeks. I project all of the following players to play at the next level, it's just a matter of timing and fit for these excellent young athletes.

[player_tooltip player_id='800943' first='Aryanna' last='Kollasch'] will have a breakout season in 2025 in my opinion. She plays at Southern Arizona Powerhouse Salpointe Catholic, and she has been waiting her turn behind several talented players, many of whom have landed on D1 College programs. Aryanna is a prototype Small Forward. Tall, long, and athletic. She is a very good athlete for her size, she runs the floor well, and she is agile in the paint both offensively and defensively. She is a solid rebounder and can defend multiple positions. Her offensive game will start to grow in my opinion, because this season she will be counted on to provide scoring for the Lancers. This July, Aryanna will be at the Nike TOC in Las Vegas, July 10th - 13th, and the Neville Jones Invitational in Texas, July 19 and 20th.

Esa Barajas will emerge as the next star at Sunnyside in the 2025 high school season. She is a seasoned veteran player that has played on the Varsity level for several years, including her 8th grade year at SoAz Prep. She is a tenacious defender that will neutralize good offensive players and she will get several steals in press situations which turns into offensive scoring opportunities. She is a highly underrated offensive player in my opinion. She can hit 3 point shots consistently and she is very good in the mid range area. I see her playing Combo Guard on the next level in the right situation. Thus July Esa will be playing in the Nike TOC in Las Vegas on July 11th -14th.

[player_tooltip player_id='1196468' first='Allison' last='Verdugo'] is an up and coming player that is flying under the radar right now. She had a very solid sophomore season at Flowing Wells, and I believe she will continue to develop and grow. She can play multiple positions on offense and guard multiple positions. She is a solid shooter that will continue to develop, but she also has shown the ability to score around the basket in traffic under pressure. Verdugo is a fearless competitor, and she will be one of the top players in Southern Arizona in her Senior year. She will be playing this summer in Dallas on July 18th-20th.

[player_tooltip player_id='1140910' first='Monica' last='Verrett'] is a multi-sport athlete that is now starting to emerge as one of the top players in Southern Arizona. She earned 4A Gila Region Defensive player of the Year last season, and she continues to improve her offensive game. Her speed can be overwhelming for players that try to cover her, but it is her amazing quickness and athleticism that can be overwhelming. I see her as a combo guard on the next level that if she continues to develop can be an absolute diamond in the rough for a college that picks her up. This summer she will be playing in the Nike TOC Live event in Las Vegas on July 11th-14th.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050010' first='Arlette' last='Munoz'] had a breakout season as a freshman for Nogales, and she has cemented herself as one of the Top 2028's in Southern Arizona. She is a versatile guard that can defend multiple positions and has a very high basketball IQ. She is a good defender that can turn defense into offense very quickly. She is an excellent 3 point shooter and she has a nice mid range shot and can hit floaters in the paint with regularity. Arlette will be playing in the prestigious Convocato-Ria Nacional Elite Summer Classic in Mexico. She has a chance to make the Mexican National team at this event.
