Thanks to PBR Hoops for hosting the annual Super 64 in Mansfield this past weekend. Lets check out these 5 Oklahoma that stood out in my notes from the past weekend. Not every player has a free profile nor social media so I may have missed you or just not enough in notes to cover an article. If so hit me up with those highlights I am not done as I still have film to watch. Follow or tag me X @coachjvick1 or IG @coach_jvick

Athletic guard that has great size for the point guard position. A guard that pushes the tempo baseline to baseline with the dribble. Made several long passes on a rope to the teammate filling the lanes in transition. An aggressive downhill driver that does not mind the contact for the And 1 finish. A outside shooter that knocked down the 3-pointer off the catch or off the dribble. Showed a nice mid-range pull up jumper around the 15 feet area at the elbow and short corners.

A complete guard that brings great versatility with the size and skill set. Tough defender on the ball that has them going sideline to sideline., Among the top 2028's in Oklahoma who is having a strong summer

The combo guard from Union that has a strong frame and did not mind getting physical on both ends of the floor. I have seen Yonae on film many times but did not realize how strong of a player she was till I saw her in play in person. I am old school and like that 3 guard position/slasher type. Yonae game is a perfect fit for that spot. A guard that can shoot the 3-pointer on the swing around. Guard that can finish at the rim or pull up in the gap hitting a mid-range jumper. Lastly always moving without the ball. Either cutting back door or cleaning up a offensive rebound.

On defense this weekend she defender basically 1-5 positions on the switches. Quick enough to defend on the ball and physical enough to displace the post on the block. The 2026 guard I believed had a strong weekend and caught the attention of several coaches in the stands

A young lady that I have not seen before but keep standing out every time I watched her team play this weekend. Aryzona did the little things that a small forward suppose to do. Always moving without the ball looking for the open gap either on the 3-point line for the kick out or cutting back door behi9nd the defense. Shot the ball with some range beyond the arch especially on the fast breaks where she busted out to the wing for the pass up the floor. A scrapper on the boards that battled for the rebounds among the taller players.

A gritty player that brings some versatility and toughness to the game. A 2027 that I would like to see more information on. I do knows plays on a state level team in school ball so knows what it takes to win on a high level.

The combo guard put in a very solid performance this weekend. An outside 3 point shooter on the catch or off the dribble making her someone you needed to quickly locate on defense. The combo guard attacked the weak closeouts with a aggressive downhill drive finishing with either hand at the rim.

On defense Katie is an excellent rebounder for a guard. Great positioning before the ball comes off the rim and climbs the latter to secure the board. The ball handling skills she has allows her to immediately push the tempo needing no outlet. A 2027 guard that recorded several double doubles last season as her team reached state.

Listed as shooting guard that plays more like a CG (complete guard) Stood out this weekend on both ends of the court with her all out hustle attitude. The outside shot was on point all weekend. A highly effective shooter on the catch or off the dribble. Impressive was the shot selection, meaning she read the defense before the catch knowing if she was shooting the jumper or attacking the rim on the close out. Strong finisher on the baseline drives that used the last step at the glass to square the body using it as protection against the block. Nice open floor handles that showed great vision up the floor on the breaks.

On defense she was consistently all over the court. Low stance and quick lateral movement kept the ball handler in front of her, staying between them and the goal. Monster rebounds crashing the boards from about 10 feet out. Great nose for the ball on the boards. A 2027 that is having a great summer circuit and I believe will continue that into school ball this season.
