Rankings Update: 2028 Point Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Session one of the 2025 AAU season has ended, and you know what that means: it's time for a Prep Girls Hoops Michigan rankings update! The 2028 list now stands at 202 total prospects ranked and on the watch list. She demonstrated those qualities again with [program_tooltip program_id='1239167' first='MWA' last='Queens'] at the Cagers Invitational. Ma'Lia penetrated gaps with explosive dribbles and finished through contact at the rim. She was a lockdown defender, an effective facilitator, converted free throws, and shot the ball with confidence from three-point range. She fired passes to open teammates, produced steals, secured offensive rebounds, and finished strong layups in the paint off the dribble. Emily ripped the ball quickly, drove hard downhill, and scored the contested layup--she blew by again for another layup off two feet. Emily is an expert facilitator, shifty ball-handler, deadly three-point shooter, and a gritty defender. She was an O.K. Her competitive edge and defensive determination have impacted games in every setting we've watched her play. She shoots the ball confidently and accurately from three-point range. Alayna has shifty handles and delivers passes on a rope to open teammates. She demonstrates keen awareness on the court and earned a higher ranking in our latest update. After a productive season for the Rocks, she's continued to sparkle this summer. Stella's determined drives to the basket, precision passing, aggressive defense, and overall impact separated her at Northwood Team Camp. She first caught my eye on film during a game against Calumet that I included in my Yooper Hoopers Series. She created many turnovers in the press, and her passing stood out. Seeing her in person at the Smoke amplified and added to the qualities I saw on film. She was a game wrecker for [program_tooltip program_id='715386' first='Great' last='Northern Elite']. Kwynn blew by defenders off the dribble and finished layups with a fantastic touch. She showed her proficiency as a three-point shooter, blocked shots, and took steals the other way for transition buckets.
