Call me what you want, but I assure you our young ladies play some good basketball. Our young ladies can do more than put the basketball in the hole. Their ability to defend, rebound, and drop timely dimes really sets them apart from other programs in other states. When teams have played against a Tennessee team, they walk away saying how tough that squad was. It seems that our teams are built for this time of the year. Tough, resilient, full of grit.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are a few young ladies who have been hot as of late. She is a selfless baller who can score on all three levels. She can put it on the floor to create for herself or others; however, you can't leave her alone on the perimeter because if you do, the ball is going to go through the net. She's not afraid to guard the other team's best player. She'll do whatever it takes on the defensive side of the ball. Rebound, block shots. One thing she excels at is rotating into position to get in help side to get a steal or create some sort of disruption. This kid is solid, and her stock is about to rise based not only on her play in July, but the body of work she put together during the school year last season. A true competitor who can run a team efficiently, as well as score the basketball. When she is on the floor, her ability to create is second to none. She is a heady ball player who knows when and where to exploit a team's weakness. Battle tested, she is going to give it her all and then some, anything to put her team in a better position to win. She has been bringing the physicality, taking it to opponents and leaving them with bumps and bruises. This kid has not only scored the basketball but owned the boards as well on the defensive end. She is comfortable with the rock in her hands as she, at times, starts the offense herself. She has had a solid summer, and schools near and far have taken notice. For starters, JoPo has amazing length that enables her to get steals and deflections by the boatload. She is a disrupter on the defensive end, creating turnover chances for her team to go the other way and get transitional buckets. Offensively, she can shoot it from the arc at a high clip, but won't hesitate to put the ball on the floor to go get a bucket at the rim. She will be a tremendous asset for the Lady Patriots this upcoming fall and will rack up even more collegiate looks as her career advances. Yes, she is naturally tall, but she is a kid who battles on both ends of the floor. She is solid in the screen game, can finish around the rim, has a nice touch on her mid-range jumper, and cleans up shots that come off the rim, putting them back up through opponents. Defensively, she's going to make it tough to score in the paint. She can block shots, grab boards, and bring the physicality that causes disruption downlow. Anna is a kid who excels at role and plays with a lot of poise. Solid kid who would be a great pickup for a program that is looking for a selfless big who is willing to do whatever it takes to help her team win.<br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
