What hasn't been said about Abelard up to this point? She's been heavily featured over the course of the year, but justifiably. This summer specifically, the '28 guard has kicked things up a notch, performing on some major stages and looking good doing so. Anjolie is a versatile perimeter force that has sacrificed her game in the past for the betterment of the team. She dived deep into her rile and last year during the season, Anjolie was one of the feistiest young on-ball defenders. After a very productive and successful AAU season, Anjolie will come into the schoolyear in prime position to solidify herself even more. The value she brings to each game is utterly unmatched.

[player_tooltip player_id='772667' first='Ayla' last='Keefe'] (2028) | 5'11 SF/SG | Newman

Newman's games will be circled on the calendar those upcoming season and Keefe will be a key factor. She processes the game well and requires the defense's full attention throughout the course of the game. Not just an offensive force, Ayla is active in team's defensive schematics, regularly being in the right position to help make a play. Keefe ticks all the boxes for a 2-way force, plus she's got a fiery competitive drive. This is a sound choice for someone who fits the bill as a sterling '28 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='967296' first='Maeve' last='Powers'] (2028) | 5'7 CG | Dexter Southfield

Maeve's move to attend Dexter Southfield was a room shaker for sure. They've got a new coach and Maeve's powers (no pun intended) will be very uplifting. Last season she torched the MIAA with tons of bigtime games. The playmaking and shot-making ability will undeniably transfer to NEPSAC. She's a special type of talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005125' first='Joy' last='Robinson'] (2028) | 5'7 SG | Rivers

A name that's been featured many times throughout the year. Robinson has a compelling argument to be one of top-ranking players in the entire class and she hasn't even fully blossomed yet. Her impact on winning is undeniable; Joy makes it her point to do whatever it takes to put her team in the best position. It'll be nice to see Joy be more assertive on the offensive end. This could take her game to new heights this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='975844' first='Genesis' last='Castro'] (2028) | PG |

Over the summer in a couple of games watched, Castro really looked like she was one of the best players in the entire gym. She comes out swinging, showcasing her confidence as she controls the offense. The tight handle as well as timely counter moves put pressure on the defense as she takes advantage of the defense's mishaps. In addition, Genesis is a very spirited on the other side of the ball too. She pesters sloppy ballhandlers, making them have a tough time getting comfortable. Genesis will pounce when she smells blood. Opposing teams must beware, she'll go for the jugular and won't let up. This aggressiveness is exactly what makes her so striking. Castro has been a buzzing name in the past, but this season it'll be intriguing to see just how much of an impact she'll have on her team.
