Promising Players to Watch in Tennessee Hoops

Sure, these girls are overlooked, sort of speak. However, in my opinion, they aren't necessarily overlooked, but just don't get as much pub as other kids out there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As you all know, in our state, there are four public school districts and two private school districts. I will say this: there is competition at all levels. One who can score it from the arc at a consistent clip. Every time she gets a clean look, especially when she squares up, the ball is going to find the bottom of the net. She isn't just a volume shooter, but someone who can truly score in double figures nightly. Had a great summer where she competes against some pretty good talent. She can play the one or two, but her ability to change speeds and exploit an area is so good. She can dial it up from deep, knock down the mid range, dive into her bag of finishes, really put the rock in the hole for her ball club. This kid is a go-getter and one who can contribute not only on the offensive end, but on the defensive end as well. I love her work ethic, her mentality, and the way she leaves it all out on the court. She is going to be a solid pick-up for whoever she gets the nod from next season. Physical wing that can impose her will on opponents. She is a kid who is going to step up and defend, not backing down to whatever her assignment may be. She is going to give you buckets from multiple spots on the floor. She is going to grind away and compete every possession. She may not be the leading scorer, but she is impactful and is a difference maker when she is on the floor. She is a solid two-way player who is going to compete on both ends. She can shoot from the arc, but her bread and butter is getting downhill, either finishing at the rim or pulling up in the mid-range. She has quick feet that enable her to guard opponents and cause them to turn the ball over due to her pressure. She's a tough kid who is going to go out there and give it 110%. Not only can she run it efficiently, but she also takes care of the ball, making the right reads. Given space, she will knock down the 3 ball. She can also be aggressive and get to the rim. Whatever her assignment is, she is going to do that plus more. She plays with tons of speed, willing to lock up the opposing ball handler. I love her ability to fly around and just get after it. Look for her to help the Lady Burros make a run this season. With her at the helm running the show, anything is possible.<br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
