Poindexter is a couple of shades under "the magic number," and she's also "long and athletic" and to be honest, she could fall into that swingman category because of her versatility. She's heady, yelled for the ball after recognizing she had a mismatch down low, scored off the dribble as well as from outside, "catch and shoot" included, yet seeing her rebound and go coast to coast to score was nice, so was her playing the passing lane

Stephenson has shown she can drop the mid- to long-range while being defended for years, but seeing her create her shot while being pressured has given her options, especially since her deceptive first step gets the defender off balance, allowing her to score off the dribble. Another side was shown at the camp, as she was on the block several times and did a good job scoring around the basket, plus she rebounded and saw the floor

King has been one of the most improved players I've seen over the past season. It's been nice to see her transform from primarily a back-to-the-basket player to someone who can consistently drop the jumper. She attacks the basket strongly from the wing and finishes after the lick, but seeing her knock it down from deep had me smiling. She rebounds, on both ends, scores on putbacks, even handles the ball after rebounding, and her court vision was nice

Alexander crossed the state line last season and wound up winning a state championship at Summer Creek, and after a powerful club season where she showed why I say "long and athletic" is the base, she is turning up her game even more, coming from out of nowhere to rebound, block shots and play the passing lane yet her fitst step to score off the dribble was nice, so was her "stop and pop" jumper in transition and her defense, both in and outside the paint, was also solid
