Jackson-Wilkins left no room for discussion as she went through the drills with ease, passing with flying colors, and when the bright lights came on, 5 on 5, she didn't let up, so I love players who "seize the opportunity". She went AFTA, did everything off the rim and on both ends, scored around the basket and off the dribble, and dropped the pull-up jumper, step back included. Just as impressive was her defense both in and outside the paint

Smith shows me something different each time I see her play, but let me start with her "long and athletic" which is the base. She rebounded strongly on both ends and ran the floor, but her "hands and footwork" were nice. When you add that she not only did a good job sealing the defender to score, her "drop step" around the basket was also effective. She also did a good job defensively inside the paint

Cooper is also "long and athletic" which will ALWAYS be the base. I say certain things over and over because sometimes important things don't register, and when you factor in her intangibles like timing, as she came out of nowhere to block shots, that's important, especially when she did the same thing going after rebounds and loose balls. Her defense, both in the paint and baseline to baseline, was solid, plus she showed the "catch and shoot" scored off the dribble, and played the passing lane

VanDalen had me misread her name, thinking I saw Van Halen, yet I got her game right as she smoothly showed she could play multiple positions. Her ability to score in the "one on one" drills was solid, yet she also showed she could defend in the same drill, and that translated over to the 5 on 5, where her "on the ball" pressure helped create turnovers. She rebounded, handled the ball after, and saw the floor in transition; she also showed good court vision in the set. Her pull-up jumper was nice, and she scored off the dribble
