The PGH Freshman Showcase is set to showcase the next wave of talent, giving the Class of 2029 another opportunity to prove themselves on a big stage. Here are five freshmen expected to make their presence felt and expand their exposure. If she sets the tone defensively and scores a few buckets there is no doubt she could easily emerge as one of the most dangerous players at the event. She has that “dog” mentality — aggressive, relentless, and competitive on both ends of the floor. For good measure, add in her ability to shoot the three point shot with deep range. She plays with poise beyond her years, using her vision and instincts to set up teammates while still finding her own scoring opportunities. When Donovan scores, It will be on the heels of speed and explosiveness. She has the chance to emerge as one of the most trusted floor leaders and versatile guards in this class. She thrives on getting downhill and putting pressure on defenses with her ability to get into the lane.
