More winning basketball is Watts on the mind of this multi-skilled combo guard from the Lowcountry. Watts is coming off a stellar AAU campaign on the Under Armour Circuit with FBC Reign and is poised to translate that into even bigger things with 5A Division 2 Lucy Beckham in 2025-26. She is a multi-sport athlete who plays volleyball alongside her basketball accolades and has hooped at the varsity level since she was in the eighth grade. Last season, Watts competed in 19 of the team's 23 games and averaged 8.4 points and 1.3 steals as Lucy Beckham made the move up from 4A.

Speaking of standouts who began their varsity odysseys as eighth graders, Bright is living up to her last name as being one of the brightest stars out of the Lowcountry. She too played with FBC Reign on the Under Armour circuit. Even though Bright primarily operates as a point guard, she can also find time in a lineup as a two. Bright was a reason why last season's Eagles version finished with an 18-12 record and entered last season's SCISA 4A playoffs as a two seed. Throughout her athletic career, Bright has also tried her hand at golf alongside her basketball achievements.

After running on the grassroots circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='713005' first='Upward' last='Stars'], Silver is looking ahead to a stellar season with a Byrnes team that should be among the teams to beat among 5A Division 1 squads. Standing at 5-foot-7, Silver primarily operates as a two guard. As a two, she can make things happen with her long-range shooting accuracy, but also can drain her attempts from the midrange along with making the right passes plus getting to the rim. She took to the court on 26 occasions last season for the Rebels, averaging 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, three assists and 1.6 steals per game for a Byrnes team that finished with a record of 19-9.

Charley is another multi-sport athlete with softball being her alternative athletic discipline of choice alongside basketball. She possesses more experience than the typical junior as she has played at the varsity level since she was in the seventh grade. Charley is a key reason why North engineered a massive turnaround last season to become one of the premier 1A teams in the state. She played in 26 of the Eagles' 27 games for a North team that finished with a record of 18-9 and averaged 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals. The Eagles last season were 1A Upper State finalists.
