The 2029 Indiana Sophomore ID Camp featured 54 prospects on September 6th, 2025. Our format included 4 hours of games split up into predetermined 3v3 and 5v5 matchups. Let's talk about media exposure. There have been thousands of views on X of coverage provided by our scouts during the event, and our articles will be read by hundreds. Every participant will receive a write-up in our articles, which is a unique and special quality of the Prep Girls Hoops showcases. We prioritize covering everyone. My coverage focused primarily on teams 4, 5, and 6. As a scout who mainly covers Michigan, seeing Indiana's top prospects for the first time was truly exciting! Several sophomores have Power 4 interest, and there were prospects in the gym suitable for every level of college basketball. I'm still shocked that some of these girls are sophomores; their development is beyond their grade. Here are a few highlights for each player from Team 4!

Jill is a strong and physical forward prospect who had a solid day for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. A post who can shoot is a premium at the next level, and Jill knocked down many perimeter jumpers with confidence during the shooting drills. Jill had a very productive day rebounding the basketball and did an excellent job establishing good positioning inside to present a target. She made adjustments to catch post-entry passes, set strong screens for shooters, and scored a soft finish without the backboard after rolling to the basket. Jill battled inside to secure offensive rebounds and had multiple put-backs off two feet. She swished a straightaway triple, scored a strong and-one layup, and earned trips to the free throw line. Jill showed mental toughness by not reacting to the lack of foul calls inside. She continued to go about her business.

Kaylee is a shifty point guard who did a bit of everything to help Team 4 be successful at the Sophomore ID Camp. She demonstrated sound shooting mechanics. Kaylee catches to shoot and fires the ball with a quick release--she ripped the net with a deep wing three off the catch. Kaylee pursued rebounds on defense and sprinted ahead in transition to finish a layup with ease. She changes directions with confident crossover dribbles and keeps her eyes up to find open teammates. Kaylee finishes around the basket with both hands and is an excellent facilitator.

Ella was a dynamic combo-guard for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. She switched hands confidently and shielded the ball against pressure, causing defenders to foul. Ella dished a nice dump-off pass to the post for an assist and kept the forwards involved on offense. She made a great adjustment to catch a pass and used a quick spin move to score off two feet. Ella wasn't afraid to pull it from beyond the arc. She buried a triple off the bounce in the slot and added an and-one three-pointer through contact on the wing. Ella pursued rebounds on both ends and scored a put-back. Her active defense caused deflections and created steals. She created space with her dribble and attacked downhill to drop in a floater.

Jessica is a versatile forward who can play inside or on the perimeter. She showed her outside range by knocking down three-pointers during the shooting drills and had a solid day for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. Jessica worked hard to secure rebounds and used her length to contest shots.

LeAnah competed at full throttle and used every ounce of her athleticism to make a giant impact for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. She grabbed many defensive rebounds and immediately pushed the ball with both hands the other direction to create transition scoring opportunities. LeAnah took the ball coast to coast for a floater and used an explosive crossover to drive by for a layup. Her full-speed closeouts caused deflections, and she climbed the ladder to block a shot. LeAnah accelerated down the lane to score off the glass and sprinted in to score an offensive rebound put back. She handled the ball effectively with both hands, kept her eyes up, and made excellent passes to open teammates for assists when the help defense committed to her dribble. LeAnah contributed in every category and earned recognition as a Top Performer.

Haley passes the eye test of a college wing-forward. Her physical strength, toughness, athleticism, versatile skills, selfless style of play, IQ off the ball, and comprehensive impact translate to the next level. I noted that Haley was long and strong; she worked hard to pressure the ball and cut off drives with her feet. Haley wasn't afraid to fire from beyond the arc, and she buried a triple in the corner. Haley rotated to make a great helpside block and secured several rebounds on both ends with determination. Haley converted layups efficiently with both hands off two feet and pushed the ball up the court with both hands in transition. She finished a left-handed floater after grabbing an offensive rebound, used an effective drop-step pivot to score a contested layup off two feet, and cut backdoor for multiple buckets. Haley won the battle for inside position, earned trips to the line, and knocked down her free throws. Haley turned in a complete performance for Team 4 and earned recognition as a Top Performer.

Maddy used her versatile skillset, length, and strength to contribute for Team 4 inside and on the perimeter at the Sophomore ID Camp. She battled to secure rebounds and made a great kickout pass after grabbing an offensive board. She earned a trip to the foul line after a hard drive to the basket and converted the free throw with a confident stroke. Maddy caught a pass with soft hands, used a quick crossover, and accelerated to drive by for a layup off two feet. She buried many three-pointers and mid-range jumpers during shooting drills.

Zoey came out firing on all cylinders in game one for Team 4 and she kept performing at a high level all day at the Sophomore ID Camp. Her explosive first step and quick bursts off the dribble carved up defenses. She showed off her hands and athleticism by leaping way up to grab an offensive rebound, then made a quick transfer for the finish. Zoey made a great recovery on defense and climbed the ladder again to block the shot. She created an up-tempo offense, firing long skip passes in transition for assists, strong chest passes, and threaded the needle with a two-handed rocked pass through two defenders. Zoey created space to shoot and drive with her shifty dribble combinations. She went by with a crossover to score a floater, buried a long jumper at the top of the key off the bounce, and hit a smooth corner three. Zoey delivered the highlight of the day when she ripped the net with a volleyball line, buzzer-beating three-point swish to end the half. She excelled in all phases and earned recognition as a Top Performer.
