[player_tooltip player_id='833966' first='Lizzy' last='Frazell'] of Waverly-Shell Rock is going to put together another incredible season in the stat books and as an overall leader. Frazell is one of the most underrated and under-recruited prospects that Iowa has to offer at this time. She has a great mixture of size, athletic ability, and knowledge within the game. A mixture that we don't see out of most. She can with move as a guard and operate from the outside or she can post up smaller individuals near the bucket for an easier attempt. She is a three level scorer by definition and she does the little things well as a whole. At this time Frazell only holds one D1 offer at this time but hopefully that changes up over the next few months as we move into the Winter season.

[player_tooltip player_id='766446' first='Ainsley' last='Roberts'] led Underwood last Winter in scoring, while also putting up respectable numbers in the categories of assists, steals, and rebounds. As you can tell, Roberts does a lot of different things but this Winter she will be looked upon to be their leader in scoring once again. Roberts is a player of opportunity. She loves to use her smarts to outthink opponents for easy buckets, always having a trick or two up her sleeve. Defensively, she holds he own as well. She sticks within her ability an stays tight to her matchup when asked but she also understands when to step off into help-side at the same time. Underwood will win some ball games this year and when they do, I'm sure that Roberts will have a big part to do with that.

I'm not sure if Don Bosco knew what they were getting when [player_tooltip player_id='1185787' first='Rachel' last='Knepper'] came onto the team as a Freshman last Winter but I'm sure that they are happy that it happened! Knepper ended up averaging just over 11 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 1.6 APG in her efforts throughout the season. These are some noteworthy numbers for someone only in her first year of Varsity ball. She demonstrated throughout the Winter that she was going to consistently put up productive numbers when she was competing and those numbers should only grow with experience moving forward. She will need to work on her turnover numbers as she did average just over 6 per contest but that will come with time. I'm hoping to see Knepper take strides over these next six months. If she has been working in the off-season, who knows what she might bring to the table!

Tipton will return this winter and look to [player_tooltip player_id='896426' first='Paityn' last='Daedlow'] and company to take over the production. Daedlow put herself on the map two years ago as a Freshman and now she is ready to keep that momentum rolling. As a guard, this is a player with solid ability as a pass-first PG. She might be pass-first but there is a lot of situations where she has to take over and make something happen. We have seen that in year's past and I'm sure we are going to see that once again this Winter.

I'm expecting a Sophomore season out of [player_tooltip player_id='1091302' first='Sage' last='Weber'] of Sioux Central High School. With the talent that Weber will have around her, she should be able to dominate her 1v1 matchups on both sides of the floor. Weber has that mixture of size and athletic ability that all coaches love and all players hate to compete against. She did a respectable just last season when she first saw Varsity minutes but now she is ready to take it up a notch. Some of this stuff will rely on her team's system and what their goals are within those systems but if year's past is any indication of what they will look to accomplish, then Weber will be someone we hear about more and more as things press on into the Playoffs in 2026.
