More Players Picking Up Collegiate Offers

Here is a list of a few more prospects from Iowa and Nebraska that have recently received offers to compete at the college level following their high school careers if they want too! [player_tooltip player_id='880913' first='Kelli' last='Kalb'] is a D1 level talent at the SG position, who is prepped for a big Winter ahead at Johnston High School. Kalb was a big play-maker last season when she got her opportunities on their way to a 5A State Title. This Winter she should be looked upon for a lot of production on both ends of the ball. Last night Kalb brought in another college offer, this time from Creighton. This is an impactful offer coming from a top ranking college program that is continuing to get better with the players they are bringing on year-by-year. This Bluejay's program continues to look to grab high-end prospects out of the state of Iowa and at this rate, they should continue to get some of those players to commit before you know it.     [player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck'], the #1 rated prospect out of the 2027 Class in Nebraska, has recently received a BIG time offer to compete at the next level with the Iowa Hawkeyes following her high school career if she so chooses. Medeck is a monster in the middle. She stands at 6'2, she has size, physicality, balanced coordination, and an aggressive edge to her play-style. Offensively, she can be the type that dominates with her strength or she can hit her defender with a few crafty moves to create an open look at the bucket. Defensively, someone that opposing teams have to worry about. If not, she is going to end the game as the MVP just because of her defensive ability. All in all, whoever gets Medeck is getting someone who will be able to produce at that P4 D1 level. Especially in the the right system that will compliment her play-style.     [player_tooltip player_id='936708' first='Raelyn' last='Lacourse'] received two college offers over the past week in D3 - Auggie (IL) and D3 - Coe (IA). Lacourse is a PG we will be featuring this Winter as the season goes on because of her selfless playmaking ability as a pass-first PG. Lacourse is equipped with a steady handle, a fundamental shooting stroke, quick feet & active hands on defense, and a smart head on her shoulders overall when it comes to X's and O's. I'm not sure where Lacourse will end up but at this point, she has some noteworthy options on the table.     [player_tooltip player_id='1044837' first='Leslie' last='Garcia'] is going to be a solid player once she finds her footing at the college level one day. Garcia is one of those players with length, a decent skill set, and a lot of promise looking towards the future. Right now she is the type that really thrives off of cutting and near the hoop against smaller opponents but she is learning to be able to step out more an more to become a threat off her jumper from deep. Last week Garcia received one of her first college offers to Nebraska Wesleyan. This should be the first of a few offers for Garcia. She has all the skill to become a real killer in the right situation. She just needs to find her niche and the rest will be history.
