P2W Headliners Invitational HS All-Showcase First Team

The Headliners Invitational Showcase ( <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/program/prepare-2-win-basketball/">[program_tooltip program_id='923712' first='Prepare' last='2 Win Basketball']</a> ) provided the ideal format for prospects to showcase their best qualities directly in front of college coaches and scouts. My goal for the high school session was to put every girl in a situation to showcase their best qualities in front of college coaches who would recognize their value. Hearing college coaches during the event express their excitement about the talent and seeing them communicate with the girls afterwards confirmed my conviction that this is a special event. All of the girls received a Prep Girls Hoops write-up and had their picture taken, which is certainly a bonus. They were coached by college staff throughout the showcase, and I firmly believe that many will have new college opportunities because they participated in the Headliners Invitational Showcase. Everything about the format and structure was done intentionally. I'm very happy about the quality of the experience, and I believe this is going to be a trusted showcase by the Michigan community for years to come. Among the very talented prospects, Danyle and I determined that the following six prospects were deserving of First Team honors.    Elise seems to always play her best ball at showcases, and the Headliners Invitational was no different. She played with a sixth sense on the defensive end and forced turnovers. She's a high-IQ player, and that makes her an appealing next-level guard prospect. Elise distributed the rock with great vision. She knocked down shots confidently from beyond the arc and in the mid-range, while also using her dribble to score layups. Elise took home an MVP t-shirt and is a First-Team All-Showcase selection.     Alexandra was expected to fit right in with the high school girls, but she did way more than that at the Headliners Invitational. Alexandra put on a show with her boundless energy, aggressive defense, and bullet downhill speed straight to the basket. She wreaked havoc with her defensive effort, took rebounds coast-to-coast, and finished fearlessly in the paint. Alexandra beat defenders off the dribble and knocked down shots from beyond the arc. She's going to be a special prospect in high school and is well-deserving of All-Showcase First Team Honors.     Logyn has established herself as one of Michigan's best guard prospects in the 2029 class, and her elite skills were on full display at the Headliners Invitational. Logyn was deadly from beyond the arc, and she has one of the smoothest shots you'll see. Logyn penetrated gaps with her dribble and finished efficiently at the rim. She's a high-IQ defender who picks off passes and creates steals with her active hands. Logyn created scoring for teammates with her outstanding vision and pinpoint passes. She had an outstanding day, took home an MVP t-shirt, and is an All-Showcase First-Team selection. Logyn is on the cusp of a memorable freshman year at Lawton. She'll be a top-three player in the conference.     Remmi plays the game in a way that will make her not only a successful high school guard but a desirable college prospect as well. She sees the floor, delivers excellent passes to teammates, makes all the competitive effort plays, rebounds, is a relentless defender, and has polished offensive skills. Remmi is a dangerous three-point threat, dribbles the ball on a string, and finishes with great touch around the rim. She's tough as nails and is going to be a menace in the CMAC this season. Remmi earned All-Showcase First Team honors at the Headliners Invitational.     Leigha is a fierce front-court prospect, and she flexed her muscles big time at the Headliners Invitational. She scored many layups off hard drives to the basket and wasn't afraid to step outside, knocking down a few triples throughout the day. Leigha handled the ball confidently with both hands and earned many trips to the free-throw line. She won the rebounding battle and impacted the games with her defensive presence. Leigha is primed for a huge Junior season at Portland. She took home an MVP t-shirt and is an All-Showcase First Team selection.     Summer was a 2026 prospect we knew college coaches would be excited to see, and she delivered an impressive performance under the spotlight at the Headliners Invitational. Summer looked like she was shot out of a cannon on her drives. She motored down the lane and scored with powerful finishes. Summer poked the ball out with quick hands to create steals, avoided defenders with great footwork to finish in traffic, earned trips to the foul line, and scored using sweet spin moves in the lane. She knocked down jumpers and turned in a terrific two-way effort. Summer took home an MVP t-shirt and is a First Team All-Showcase selection.
