Destinee Benway showed up to this event while traveling with her family across the Country. Benway comes to us out of the state of Arizona and she is a very talented prospect out of the 2028 Class. In every skill's drill, 3v3, or 5v5 contest - this is someone that stood out as an elite playmaker on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she hit a ton of shots from beyond the volleyball line from deep, she created for others off the dribble while attacking her defender, and she scored with ease once she did end up getting downhill into the middle of the lane. Defensively, she held her own. She recorded several steals and rebounds on the day, which was noteworthy. All in all, Benway is a competitor out of the 2028 Class who should have D1 offers before her high school career comes to a close. On the trajectory she is on, she has the chance to be special. She just needs to keep progressing.

The prospect with the highest ceiling from this event looking forward is [player_tooltip player_id='1169794' first='Emma' last='Ryder'] of Ottumwa High School. Ryder is a 6'1 Post with a superb mixture of size, skill, and tenacity on both sides of the ball. She is a dominant post player with great touch on the ball and a willingness to mix it up with anyone and everyone down low in the paint. She also demonstrated at this event that she likes to bring her defender outside to the three point line and knock down a few three's when those opportunities present themselves. Not to mention, she is a problem for others defensively when they try to drive and score in the lane. She is always creeping around that area and that helps her record multiple steals, blocks, and deflections throughout a ball-game. As long as Ryder works on the correct things moving forward with some good coaching guidance, the sky is the limit.

I received multiple comments on the day that [player_tooltip player_id='1223807' first='Audrey' last='Danler'] is going to be special when she gets to Assumption High School next Winter and I happen to agree. Danler has the ability to be a D1 prospect at the end of the day. She has good size for her age right now at 5'9, she has a great feel for the game, and she understands what she does best as a hooper. She will need to add to her game in some aspects, just like everyone at a young age but the core is there for Danler. She just needs to stay motivated as she gets older and everything else should fall in to place to follow.

[player_tooltip player_id='923916' first='Lizzie' last='Beam'] proved to everyone watching yesterday that she is going to be a vital piece to her high school team's success over the next two years at the Varsity level. Beam is a SG/CG and she does all the little things right. Offensively, she can be your producer as a scoring threat, she can create for others around her, or she can move off the ball and produce as a cutter/slasher. Defensively, with her mixture of height and speed, she can switch between a few different positions to guard at this time. Beam stood out on Sunday as one of the best overall and most complete players in the gym. If you asked her to do anything, she would - no questions asked. If she can keep that up moving into this Winter, I'm sure she will be a name we hear about more and more as the season presses on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1314846' first='Kelbi' last='Maher-Hodges'] has been a name we have spoken about consistently leading up to this event and for good reason. Maher-Hodges has the chance to be special. She is an uber athletic hooper, that always makes her mark in one way or another when she takes the floor. My knock on Kelbi up to this point has been her shooting ability but it seems like she is righting those issues at this time. Yesterday she hit several jump-shots, while still doing her usual work. If KMH continues to work on that and she stays in love with the game, who knows how far she will truly be able to take things. At this event she looked promising as a future collegiate prospect.
